Serial Killers Crime Documentary: Angelo Buono & Kenneth Bianchi: The Hillside Stranglers

Source:The Daily Press

The Hillside Stranglers are two of the saddest people who this country has ever produced, because they were basically a couple of losers. Who didn’t know right from wrong or didn’t care and somewhat nuts in the sense, that they would be willing to do just about anything to get their pleasure. One of them was a Serial Murderer and the other was a Serial Rapist.

The Buono-Bianchi victims would get raped and then murdered or the other way around, so these two losers could get their pleasure. With no sense of a conscience or should they even doing this, what are the consequences that could come from this. Or they simply didn’t understand the concepts of these things, which made them even more dangerous. Because they could pretty much do anything, because they weren’t worried about the results.

Buono and Bianchi wouldn’t care who would get hurt from it, even themselves and what would happen to them because of their actions. The only benefit from their stupidity, was they weren’t very good at being criminals, in the sense that yes they could pull off their crimes, but were horrible at covering them up. So when they would murder and rape a women, and they would get tied to these crimes fairly early on.

Angelo Bono was a fairly intelligent man who could’ve been fairly successful in life and could’ve lived on his own. And been self-sufficient and he wouldn’t of had to be a criminal to make it in life. But Kenneth Bianchi his cousin, was basically a born loser who barely learned how to read and write and was an outcast since childhood. And is one of these people if someone could’ve gotten to him early on in life and realized that this guy had some serious issues who needed help.

Maybe Kenneth Bianchi’s life turns out differently with an early intervention. And had his cousin Angelo not of hooked up with him, not had brought him into his home in Los Angeles, this murderous team probably never comes together, but of course we’ll never know this and Ken Bianchi represents a typical prison Inmate. A criminal who enters prison as an ignorant man who couldn’t make it in the free world, without the skills to survive as a non-criminal.

What gets me is how long the Hillside Stranglers were able to stay in business, for basically two years, from late 1977 to 1979. Because of who this team was, with one of them essentially being a moron. Which tells me that Angelo Bono being the intelligent member of this team, was probably the leader of it and perhaps the only one that had any control of Ken Bianchi before they were arrested.

Sweet Fights: Video: Muhammad Ali vs. Jerry Quarry 2, 1972

Source:The Daily Times

Jerry Quarry simply didn’t have the defense to fight a big strong fighter like Muhammad. And ended up taking too much punishment in these two fights. Muhammad was simply too big, strong and fast for a brawler like Jerry Quarry, who needed his opponent to be in front of him and not have the great footwork and quickness to beat him.

Jerry Quarry was the ultimate fighter’s chance boxer. Meaning he had a fighter’s chance to win fights. That if he delivered enough punishment, especially against a stationary boxer, he could win the fight and beat his opponent before his opponent beat him. The problem that he had against Ali, was Ali was not a stationary fighter. But someone with great quickness and footwork. Who could punch hard and hurt you.

Jas Bains: Catherine Bach- The Real and Only Daisy Duke From the Dukes of Hazzard

Jas Bains_ Catherine Bach- The Real and Only Daisy Duke From the Dukes of Hazzard

Source:Jas Bains– Tom Wopat, as Luke Duke and Catherine Bach as Daisy Duke, from The Dukes of Hazzard.

“One Daisy Duke Video to rule them all! Awesome collection of Daisy Duke ( Catherine Bach ) clips compiled to an awesome song by Lamb, called Gorecki. Visit my site at:Jas Bains. Video blocked in Germany due to music copyright issues.”

From Jas Bains

When I was growing up my favorite TV show was probably The Dukes of Hazzard. A CBS action comedy where everyone on the show met about every single stereotype both good and bad of what life and the people were like living in the country. It took place in a small county called Hazzard. Naturally with a police department that had two sometimes three cops including the sheriff who was named Roscoe. It had people with names like Daisy, Roscoe, Cletus, Enos, Cooter.

Guest stars with people with names like Billy Bob, Billy Joe, Marly Lu. It had every two name, name you can think of. It had dirt roads, country music, car races and car chases. Great country food, with the fried chicken, mash potatoes, biscuits and gravy. Fast cars being chased by big police cars. A town where everyone knew each other and where the whole town knew when someone from out of town was in Hazzard.

It had Pickup Trucks, farms, crooked politicians and cops, ignorant people who didn’t seem to know what they were doing. It had moonshine whisky, a county next door called Chickasaw that only had one cop, the Sheriff on the Police Force. And it had a lot of beautiful sexy women on it. Including Catherine Bach who played Daisy Duke. Forget about Jessica Simpson who played Daisy Duke in the movie Dukes of Hazard. She’s more qualified to play Sally Smith head cheerleader at Valley High, then to play a country girl.

The hot, sexy baby-faced country girl was the perfect role for Catherine Bach on Dukes of Hazard. Because she was and actually still is gorgeous, baby-face adorable with a great body. Two of the best legs this country has ever seen, just like Tina Turner or Raquel Welch. She was very funny and even though she was (actually still is) baby-face adorable, could probably kick ass as well as he her cousins Bo and Luke Duke. Played by John Schneider. (Great last name by the way) And Tom Wopat the brains of the operation. And as adorable and sexy as Daisy was, you didn’t want to mess with here, because she could kick your ass and look hot doing it. In her famous tight denim jeans and shorts.

And her tight denim jeans and cowgirl boots, Catherine Bach now has her own Denim Line. She was no Sally from the Valley, but a tough but adorable sexy country girl. Who could be sweet as candy until you messed with her. Catherine Bach will always be Daisy Duke and since she played that role perfectly. Unfortunately will always be typed cast, because its so hard to to think of anything else other than Daisy Duke when it comes to Catherine Bach. But she has done other things and has actually has been very active and successful pre and after. Dukes of Hazzard and is someone who’s career should be looked at. To give her the type of respect she actually deserves.

The original Dukes of Hazzard tv show, was and still is the Dukes of Hazzard, at least as far as I’m concern and as far as a lot other Dukes fans are concern as well. The recent movies and everything else are for a younger generation where everything that was around before they were even born or old enough to remember is considered, “like so yesterday and so over and needs to be changed for the new century. But there are reasons why sequels to great shows and movies tend not to be as good as the original. Because the original was done so well, that any new version of it looks like pretend or a copy.

Slave Obey’s: Video: Blind Faith: Expose on the Potter’s House Family of Churches

This post was originally posted at FRS Daily Journal on Blogger, April, 2013

The Religious-Right in America are people who are theocratic Christians and would like to see an official religion in the United States, who would completely rewrite the United States Constitution and make it look like a fundamentalist religious document. This is why I call this political faction in America that’s on the far-right a religious-cult.

Thats exactly what the Religious-Right is, a lot of these people are either very ignorant or brainwashed or a combination of both. And view people who the country as a whole tends to tolerate and not look down on as immoral people. Such as homosexuals, adulterers, gamblers, people who watch adult entertainment to use as examples. All things that the Religious-Right would like to outlaw in America.

Other Americans might not approve of these activities. But tend to look at it as “the individuals business and we do not need big government interfering with how individuals live their own lives”. And so-fourth, but with the Religious-Right it’s another ball game. They just don’t look down at these activities, but see them as immoral and Un-American and needs to be outlawed all together. This is why I call the Religious-Right in America a religious cult.

Liza Liz Bethy: FOX 90210- Dylan & Brenda

Attachment-1-746

Source: Liza Liz Bethy– Dylan and Brenda ( played by Luke Perry and Shannen Doherty )

Source:The Daily Post

“My first fanvid, working only with windows movie maker, so be gentle. I just thought the song would be perfect for Brenda/Dylan from Brenda’s POV in late Season 3, early Season 4 and the will they or won’t they get back together aspect. Song is by A Fine Frenzy, and is called “Ashes and Wine” (and is one of my absolute favorite sad songs).”

From Liza Liz Bethy

When I was a freshman in high school, FOX was still a very young TV network at this point. They came out with a high school soap opera, with the cast all out of high school. Some of them graduating high school 5-7 years before this show came out.

Beverly Hills 90210 which definitely had its cheesy aspects about it, like some of the writing and the fact that a pair of twins, one male and female looked nothing alike . But this was the first prime time soap opera for adolescents of any kind and it was a well rated prime time soap opera.

Beverly Hills was the soap opera of my Generation X and this high school class of 1993 on the show was only a year ahead of me. So I got to watch it for three seasons while they were still in high school on the show. And while I was still in high school in real life. It was about a upper middle class family that moves from Minneapolis to Los Angles actually in Beverly Hills.

Because the father played by James Eckhouse who plays Jim Walsh on the show, the husband of Cindy Walsh and the father of a set of twins, Brandon and Brenda Walsh, (played by Jason Priestly and Shannen Doherty) gets a job in Beverly Hills and moves his family out there. And is about how this family relates to their new friends out in Beverly Hills and life in general in a new city.

This show had its drawbacks some of it was cheesy. But when I was in High School, I watched this show every week. Because it actually dealt with what adolescents were going through in real life. In an entertaining and many times even funny way. So it was good TV.

Real Time With Bill Maher: Center-Left Democrats vs. Occupy Wall Street

Source:The Daily Press

Bill Maher has this idea that since there’s a Democrat in the White House, that President Obama should govern like Dennis Kucinich. What he doesn’t seem to understand, is that President Obama and Representative Kucinich come from two different factions of the party. Barack Obama comes from the adult realist faction of the party. Progressives and Liberals that see the world for what it is and try to make it the best that they can, with what’s available to do so.

Dennis Kucinich comes from the dreamer utopian faction of the party, Socialist Hippies from the 1960s, and early 70s and today that haven’t grown up. And see the World that they want to create apparently not realizing what’s possible, but believe everything that they want is possible. And its possible now to turn America into Europe to create their Socialist Utopia. And you got these two competing factions, the adults with the power in the party that see the world for what it is and try to make it the best that they can, against the Hippies that want to see the world that they want now.

And if you support any policy that’s different from what the Hippies want, you’re some type of corporate sellout to the Republican Party or something. President Obama is like a father with his only real life family, as well as his kids in the Democratic Party. That help him run the party, plus with millions of adopted children that complain about not being able to have cake for dinner. And throw temper tantrums when they can’t have cake for dinner or have to eat salad with their meat. And tell their parents they hate them when they can’t stay up all night on a school night.

The Socialist Hippies (the Democratic children) in the party that doesn’t have a great grasp on reality, that want everything now and doesn’t understand what Hubert Humphrey called the “Art of the Possible”. So the state of the Democratic Party right now a political party that I’m proud to be a member of is basically two parties and I believe within ten years could become officially two political parties. Which I believe would be good for both American liberalism and progressivism, as well as socialism giving each political movement their own voice.

You have the Liberal Democrats led by the President and the Congressional Democratic Leadership and the DNC. And then you have the Hippie Socialists again from the 1960s and early 70s. And want to bring that movement about today and create their own Socialist Utopia a perfect world. Where there’s no wealthy or poor people, no violence, no war, give peace a chance. Everybody is equal, sounds like a decent Hollywood film or Hollywood fantasy. No bigotry, but the only problem that they have, is that they don’t have a damn clue how to bring those things about. They tell the Leadership “this is what we want now go out there and accomplish that”. Without having any idea of how to bring that about.

Hippy Democrats are like a head coach who wants to have the best team in the league. But doesn’t know what type of system he wants on offense and defense, or what type of players he wants. Or how to write a game plan or run a practice, that these things are just details, right. Sounds more like a great fan than a successful head coach. And then leave it up to the Liberal Democrats the adults in the room to get the job done.

And when the Hippies accomplish some of those goals that the whole party supports, what’s the thanks for the Democratic Leadership, they get called sellouts by their kids the Hippies. Who weren’t even invited to the party because they probably would’ve thrown food or gotten into a fight. Its like giving your kid a corvette as their graduation present. But then getting called as asshole because you didn’t give your son a Porche. Thats why the Liberal Democrats run the Democratic Party because they are the adults in the room.

Politico Magazine: Will Marshall: How to Save the Democratic Party From Itself

Source:The New Democrat

Will Marshall seems to be arguing that since the Republican Party now operates the anti-government Tea Party Right, to go along with the Christian-Right when it comes to social issues, that the Democratic Party should operate the middle. That it would be dangerous for the Democratic Party to operate the pro-big government Left, because most of the country is not there on the Left or with the Tea Party on the Right. I agree with Marshall that most of the country is not that far Left or Right.

Americans tend to be between the 40s, to use a football field analogy. They don’t tend to be on the 20’s the two wings of the American political spectrum. But there’s a difference between center-left and dead-center where you don’t have any real political core. And everything is about negotiation and give and take because you don’t have any real political core. Any real ideas and values that you truly believe in other than the basics of the Constitution.

The fifty yard line would be the dead-center. It’s called dead-center for a reason because not any Americans are so moderate without any real political core. They tend to be somewhere between liberal and conservative. With the wings occupying the fringes of both parties. the center-left would be one of the forty yard lines. Liberals and Progressives, mainstream pragmatic leftists who have their own policies and views, but can and will work with pragmatists on the Right when they don’t have all the power and have to work with the other side in order to govern.

The Democratic Party doesn’t and shouldn’t be the dead-center moderate party with no clear convictions and nothing they’ll fight for and stand for party. And tell voters, “vote for me because I’ll do what I believe is best and work with the other side to govern”. No, it doesn’t work like that in American politics. Americans like to know who they are voting for and what that person is about and where they are on the issues before they decide to hire that person or not. And that is not just the wings, but mainstream Liberals and Conservatives who are between the 40s politically.

The Democratic Party doesn’t need to be the dead-center party, nor should it. But be what it has traditionally been at least the last fifty years or so. Which is the center-left party in America that is about growth, opportunity for all that comes with both freedom and responsibility. The party that champions personal freedom and civil liberties. And economic opportunity and freedom for all, so how you do in life is not about who you were born to and how wealthy your parents are. But how you did in school and with the quality opportunities you were given there. And how productive and successful you are as an adult.

The Democratic Party should be the Liberal Party. Not a a social democratic or socialist party or the Green Party. But a center-left liberal party that is about both personal and economic freedom, but personal and economic freedom for everyone and not just people born to wealth. Not a pro-big government, or an anti-government party, but a party that is about the individual and using government to help people who need it get the tools that they need to live in freedom. And then allowing for everyone to live in freedom and manage their own personal and economic affairs. Not using government to try to run their lives for them from an economic or personal perspective.

The Triple Play TV: ‘Montreal Expos history (1969-2004)’

Montreal Expos history (1969-2004)Source:Triple Play TV– MLB trivia question of the day: who’s this Montreal Expos pitcher? If you get the answer right, then we’ll both know who he is. The stakes could. be a lot higher.

Source:The Daily Times

From Triple Play TV

The Expos for the most part were never marketed well in Montreal or the broader Province of Quebec. They seemed to believe that fans would automatically come to their games if they just won or were competitive. Apparently not being aware that Montreal was really never a baseball market and is a big city of over 1M people. In a market of over 3M people with plenty of things to do besides just baseball. And that there were other sporting events to go to besides baseball and not just Canadians hockey but CFL football and pro soccer. Other pro sports have done well in Montreal because these are sports that Quebecers grow up with, enjoy playing and watching. But that wasn’t the only problem with the Expos.

The Expos started off playing in a real ballpark in Jarry Field. But then in the late 1970s move to the huge Montreal Olympic Stadium. Which by that point with its 65-70,000 seats was a football stadium that the Montreal Alouettes played in as well. And pro soccer was being played there. Big mistake on the Expos management part.

The Expos needed to market their club better and actually explain baseball to Montreal, which is not Toronto. A big market near Detroit and other Major League Baseball cities where Toronto already liked and enjoyed baseball before it got there. Montreal was new to baseball in 1969 and Montreal Olympic Stadium was simply too big with the fans being too far away from the games and not enough people wanting to go there to watch baseball. And these are the main reasons why the Expos left Montreal for Washington.

Great on Yak: Archie Bunker on Democrats & the 1970s

The New Democrat

Oh the 1970s, a decade about sacrifice and millions of Americans learning about their government and their politicians and that they didn’t like a lot of them. But of course as George Carlin always said, “no one put a gun to your head and forced you to vote for. A or B or reelect A or B”. That we get the politicians and the government that we vote for. So who do voters who vote for the wrong people have to blame.

The 1970s starts off radically enough with the Vietnam War and millions of Americans wanting to get the hell out of there. And can you blame them with all the people we lost. To Vietnam War demonstrations with a crime family running the White House. Because they didn’t trust their own country and their own people and a lot of them voted for Richard Nixon. To Watergate and the Nixon team breaking into Democratic headquarters. That didn’t have a January heat wave in Alaska’s chance of defeating President Nixon for president. To a president essentially being forced to resign as president or be fired by Congress.

We go from Tricky Dick Nixon as president. To stumbling bumbling Gerry Ford as president, our own president who was never elected president or vice president. It gave Americans a taste of what communist rule looks like and they spit that out by voting for a peanut brain, I mean peanut farmer in Jimmy Carter for president. Whose idea of leadership was to blame America for the country’s problems.

It is a good thing I was only alive for four years of the 1970s. Because if I had to go through that whole decade and old enough to remember all of it, I might have ended up being institutionalized for depression. Because the 1970s was a depressing decade. Sure the women’s designer denim jeans revolution of the late 1970s helped and was great for men to see, but most of the rest of the decade was depressing.

Bruce Hornsby & Tupac Shakur: The Way it is

Source:The New Democrat

I love this Bruce Hornsby song and the Malcolm X intro makes the video a classic. With Malcolm asking his audience and I’m paraphrasing here. “Who are you? Where are you from? Your names can’t be Smith or Jones or Johnson or Murphy”. They don’t have names like that where we are from. Our identity was stolen from people who come from a different part of the world. Who look and talk a lot different from we do”.

Then it goes to Bruce Hornsby and Tupac Shakur talking about the American civil rights movement. And the laws that were passed, but then asks the questions how much progress in this country has been made. When it comes to racial equality when we still have a lot of the same problems that we did fifty years ago, but the answer to that is that we’ve made a hell of a of progress in this area. But we still have a lot of work to do. That we haven’t completed our journey on the road to racial quality in America. That this isn’t about bashing a great country, but it is about acknowledging that one of the things that makes us great, is our ability to grow and become even greater.

This video represents to me the best of what can actually happen when you involve pop culture or in Tupac’s case hip hop culture into a subject. Not to try to convince people who serious subjects aren’t serious and do not deserve our attention. But to explain the subjects in a way that a vast audience can understand. Especially for people who do not follow these issues very closely because they do not seem cool to them.
