“There are several phrases associated with the Statue of Liberty, but the most recognizable is “Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” This quote comes from Emma Lazarus’ sonnet, New Colossus, which she wrote for a fundraiser auction to raise money for the pedestal upon which the Statue of Liberty now sits. The poem did not receive much recognition and was quite forgotten after the auction.”

I’m a full-time blogger, because this is what I do and I do it, because it gives me a great avenue to talk about and even inform people about what I’m think and the issues that I’m concern about and interested in. And hopefully give new insight and stress things that should be commonly known, but perhaps aren’t stressed enough. I blog generally about current affairs, government and politics. Because these are the issues that are the most important society. Whatever your opinion on government and how government works and our governmental officials they all affect us and for good and bad and we all have to pay for what government does and should at least be interested in what potential government officials are interested in and what they bring to the table as well.
And even though current affairs is not my only interest, but it is my first interest, there are also other things in life that interest me as you’ve probably have seen if you follow my blogging. And I use my blogging platform to cover all of my interests in life. Whether it is movies, especially classic movies, today’s sports and sports history, today’s entertainment and more interesting to me actors and actress’s of the past, to everyday issues of life, to the women I”m interested in life, to documentaries and history. And history covers everything from government, entertainment, sports and personalities from all of these genres. If I’m interested in it and knowledgeable about it, I’m probably going to blog about it.
It’s great to be alive and well and have the ability to think and educate yourself in so many different things that go on in everyday life. But then throw in the ability to communicate exactly what you feel and know about the issues you deal with and are interested in. And then inform people about what you’ve seen and what it means and get input on how you look at things in life. That is what blogging is to me. And everyday diary except that what I write is shown to the public. And just someone who stole my diary. But everyone who sees me online and is something that I love doing and hope to continue to write for the rest of my life.
