The New Democrat (WordPress, and Blogger) is primarily a current affairs blog. We write about other things as well, but primarily current affairs, public policy, politics, and history. We are a center-right, classical liberal (meaning real liberal) blog and I’m a Classical Liberal myself.
My main role when it comes to this blog, is to right about what I would call Conservative Independents and Right-Progressives. People who ideologically are center-right Republicans, but who don’t fit in today with the modern, MAGA, cultural warrior, Christian Nationalist Republican Party. Some of these folks are still registered Republicans, but will never endorse and vote for Far-Right Republicans. That’s the wing, the GOP (if you will) of the Republican Party, that I mainly focus on for The New Democrat.
