Tim Miller & Adam Kinzinger: ‘Yes, Donald Trump is Dumb & Erratic As Hell’

“Felon 45 didn’t even really like being president and no one is taking his ludicrous tariff plan seriously, but Republicans can’t stop tripping over each other to show him their fealty. Plus, Putin’s desperate trip to North Korea, Netanyahu shows his ingratitude to Biden, the national debt keeps growing, and Trump’s fond memories for his glory days on The Apprentice.”

From The Bulwark

Donald Trump talking about dead people voting in 2021. You’ll understand why I’m sharing this later in this post:

“With CNN and other media outlets including Fox News having called the election for former Vice President Joe Biden, President Donald Trump and his allies continue to argue the results were somehow fraudulent.

On Wednesday, the Trump campaign claimed that the identities of four deceased people were used to vote in Georgia.

The campaign tweeted out the names of the four deceased former residents of Georgia, claiming that a ballot was cast in each one’s name in the 2020 election. The campaign also put out a news release that day with the same allegations, which were repeated later that evening on Fox News by host Tucker Carlson.”

From CNN

From what my colleague Fred Schneider wrote about this story yesterday:

“But even with what I just said, you don’t have to take Ramin Seodeh’s word or anyone else word about Donald Trump’s mental decline. Just look at and of his recent interviews, where you have his professional bootlickers (to be kind) like Sean Hannity or Dr. Phil McGraw, try to prop him up, so he doesn’t sound crazy and out of the mainstream.

Or, just look at any of DJT’s recent campaign rallies where maybe half of his speeches because he’s speaking off the cuff, are gibberish. Or, like in Las Vegas 2 weeks ago where he gets caught actually being honest and literally tells his melting audience in the 110 degree heat, that he doesn’t care about them. He just wants their vote.

But if you are still making up your mind about who to vote for in November, or not even voting at all for President, you need to see these stories and reports. We don’t want, can’t afford, a mentally incompetent, crazy man, as President of the United States. The job is just too powerful and serious for someone like that.”

From The New Democrat

I think Adam Kinziner had the perfect point here about Donald Trump. They were talking about Ramin Seodeh’s interview of Donald Trump and Mr. Trump telling Ramin Seodeh that he was more happy as an entertainer and not happy doing the job as President of the United States.

And that Adam Kinzinger would’ve been very happy with Trump just as an entertainer, regardless of what he was doing and even threw in a Top Gun reference. And said his film could’ve been something like: “The Revenge of Goose”, or something like that, with Donald Trump playing Goose. (For you Top Gun fans and I’m 1) And Kinzinger said he could do things like this because at least Trump wouldn’t be able to hurt the country anymore. He would just be an entertainer, but not someone with any governmental power.

Adam Kinzinger’s point about Donald Trump, is almost my point. If this guy was just some reality TV slimeball, (to put it lightly) like a lot of those characters that so-called reality TV fans see almost every night, he would be no more dangerous than the reality TV characters that you those fans see every night. Or the wannabe reality TV and pop culture celebrities that people see on social media everyday.

Donald Trump has only been a threat to the country, when he was President of the United States and getting close to getting back in The White House today. But only if Democrats don’t do their patriotic duty and simply vote for President Biden, simply to save the country.

The the dead people thing: Donald Trump apparently told Ramin Seodeh that Joan Rivers voted for him in 2016. She died in the summer of 2014. So if you think about it, the only dead person whose only voted in America, is Joan Rivers. (RIP) I’m not making fun of her. But she voted for him, according to Donald Trump.

I’m just trying to give you an idea of how out of this world Donald Trump is. That he doesn’t live in the real world mentally. He lives in reality TV world, which we know is not even reality TV, let alone the real world.

The Source With Kaitlan Collins: ‘Author Says He Has Cognitive Questions About Donald Trump After Interviewing Him Six Times’

CNN: Author Says He Has Cognitive Questions About Donald Trump After Interviewing Him Six TimesSource:CNN talking to author Ramin Setoodeh about Donald J. Trump.

“CNN’s Kaitlan Collins speaks with “The Apprentice in Wonderland” author Ramin Setoodeh about his half dozen interviews with former President Donald Trump since 2021.”

From CNN

“RAMIN SETOODEH, an award-winning journalist, is the New York bureau chief for Variety. He was formerly a senior writer at Newsweek and has also written for The Wall Street Journal, the Los Angeles Times, and U.S. News & World Report, among other publications. Ladies Who Punch is his first book. He lives in New York City.”

From Google Books

In case anyone is wondering why I put up a little of Ramin Steodeh’s background here, I’m going to tell you anyway. It’s just in case anyone who reads this (especially a MAGA person) thinks this guy is some left-wing hack from some left-wing, political rag, like Salon, The Nation, AlterNet, etc. Or some plant with the Biden Campaign out there just to try to hurt Donald Trump. Ramin Setodeh obviously has a mainstream journalistic background.

But even with what I just said, you don’t have to take Ramin Seodeh’s word or anyone else word about Donald Trump’s mental decline. Just look at and of his recent interviews, where you have his professional bootlickers (to be kind) like Sean Hannity or Dr. Phil McGraw, try to prop him up, so he doesn’t sound crazy and out of the mainstream.

Carl Higbie: ‘Profiles In Freedom’

C-SPAN_ Carl Higbie, _Profiles in Freedom_Source:C-SPAN covering author Carl Higbie’s book event in New York City.

Source:The New Democrat

“Newsmax host Carl Higbie argued that the Left wants to rewrite American history to exclude or demonize those who don’t live up to contemporary progressive standards. This event was hosted by the Metropolitan Republican Club in New York City.”

From BookTV

“THE TRUTH WILL ENDURE. IT MUST.

But our history is in danger of being rewritten by the progressive left and the “woke” mob.

In PROFILES IN FREEDOM: HEROES WHO SHAPED AMERICA , Carl Higbie shines a light on the real heros of American history.

Ronald Reagan warned in his 1989 farewell address: “If we forget what we did, we won’t know who we are. I’m warning of an eradication of the American memory that could result, ultimately, in an erosion of the American spirit.”

The “woke” mob tries to silence voices of reason. They try to remeasure by their liberal, progressive standards our historical heroes who made an impact on our country. They must redefine everything to fit their narrative. They don’t teach our actual history because they hope that by ignoring it, we will forget, for when it’s forgotten, it is effectively erased. But people should not be erased, nor should our history. We should learn from it and grow, always climbing higher than the previous generation.

Carl Higbie, a former Navy SEAL and national news anchor of Carl Higbie Frontline on Newsmax TV, believes in REAL America and the need to remember the heroes who made this country great. In Profiles in Freedom, he reintroduces some of the Americans who made this great country what it is today. People such as:”

From Amazon

Before I get into sounding like I’m simply bashing Carl Higbie and basically accusing him of speaking out of his ass, (to be frank) I want to get into where I actually agree with him. Which should be shocking enough for you. I mean, let’s face it Carl Higbie is a Newsmax host. I agree with them on anything, about as often as Seattle runs out of coffee and water, or Hollywood runs out of celebrities and scandals, Millennials take a break from social media and staring at their phones. Almost never.

He’s right about the (let’s call them) woke-left. But I think most of that has to do with American culture, especially pop culture more than anything else. I’m about 10 years older than him and I’m having a hard time finding a lot of the programming and movies that I grew up with, simply because you have far-left, radical feminists, who simply think shows like the Dukes of Hazzard is either racist or sexist, if not both and the same thing with The Fall Guy, which just recently made it back into reruns on the Heroes & Icons network.

Even though the Dukes of Hazzard and The Fall Guy are two shows that are actually very popular with the American people as a whole. But you have beautiful, sexy women, wearing very tight outfits on every episode of these shows. And even though America as a whole loves these shows, the militant feminists of today have enough clout to keep them off the air. At least until recently.

As far as the woke-left in the military: Joe Biden is President of the United States. He’s more hawkish than Donald J. Trump could ever possibly dream of being. Donald got out of military service because of bone spurs. Joe Biden either as a U.S. Senator, Vice President of the United States, or now as President Biden, has a personal relationship with both military and foreign service, going back 50 plus years, when he was originally elected to Congress. While Donald Trump feels the need to be loved and share love stories with our foreign dictators.

Steve Schmidt: ‘Want to Advance Politically? All You Need is Anger, Rage & Stupidity!’

The Warning With Steve Schmidt_ Want to Advance Politically_ All You Need is Anger, Rage & StupiditySource:The Warning With Steve Schmidt talking about the king of the reality TV scumbags, Donald J. Trump.

Source:The New Democrat

“At a recent Trump rally, the crowd erupted into “Send Them Back” chants. Steve Schmidt poses a question: when does that chant become more violent? And will Donald Trump act on those words if he’s re-elected? He has told us he will. “Scumbaggery is his rocket fuel” and all you need is anger, rage, and stupidity if you want to advance politically.”

From The Warning With Steve Schmidt

I don’t want to make this sound like this a pro-Joe Biden post. I think you already know who The New Democrat is endorsing and who we’re going to vote for in November, if you follow this blog. But there’s one point here where I disagree with Steve Schmidt on and it’s not a small one.

If you ask the average Independent voter about the choice between Joe Biden and Donald Trump and what they think about that choice, not who they’re going to vote for, but what they think about that option, they don’t like it. As I talked about on Tuesday:

“But picking the next President of the United States is not like shopping around for a car or a house. It’s more like picking a meal on an airplane. (Hopefully in 1st class) It’s generally a choice between 2 people who can actually win the election in America. And it’s generally not about who you like more. But in many cases do you even like 1 of the choices or none of them. Or, maybe you just dislike 1 of the choices more than the other.”

From The New Democrat

I can see why Independents might think this is a horrible choice. You have a convicted felon and career conman, running against someone who at times might seem like he needs to be a seniors home and in bed most of the day. And of course Independents don’t like inflation and 7% interest rates either. I’m just talking about how Independents perhaps see these two candidates and their options right now. But that’s not what’s going on here.

What’s going on here is a choice between a 34 time convicted felon, a career conman, someone with the personality of a 2nd world dictator, versus someone whose served his country for the last 55 years, who was financially the poorest member of Congress in his 36 years as a U.S. Senator. But only because he didn’t spend most of his time writing books and playing the market with insider information, or got a huge inheritance from his father, but because he was in Congress for a long time just doing his job.

This is not a good choice. But not because you have two bad candidates. It’s not a good choice because the choice is so clear and obvious about who should win this election. Joe Biden should win by 10-15 points in the popular vote and not just win the rustbelt states that he has to have, as well as Georgia and Arizona, but North Carolina, Florida, and Ohio, as well. If this was simply about who is better suited to be President of the United States: the career public servant, or the career conman/reality TV personality, whose lived off the Manhattan tabloids for most of his career.

As far as Steve Schmidt’s point about anger, rage, stupidity, and “scumbaggery”: This is what happens when reality TV and I would add tabloid culture and tabloid pop culture, not just meet American politics and government, but actually get into government with real positions of power.

Independent voters despite Donald Trump’s background as a reality TV star and entertainer, his narcissism, thought he was worth the risk in 2016. But now they’ve seen the consequences of taking that risk when he was President of the United States and everything we’ve had to live with as a country since he became President in 2017.

And now I think American voters simply want to go back to a time when leaders led and served the people. That’s what Joe Biden has going for him, that’s his best political play here. He’s not in it for himself. (To paraphrase the Biden Campaign) He just wants to serve his country and protect it from the people who would take over the American government just to serve themselves.

The Situation Room With Wolf Blitzer: ‘Jane Fonda Lays Out Reasons She is Campaigning For Joe Biden’

CNN_ Jane Fonda Lays Out Reasons She is Campaigning For Joe BidenSource:CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer talking to Hollywood Goddess/political activist Jane Fonda.

Source:The New Democrat

“Actress and activist Jane Fonda talks to CNN’s Wolf Blitzer about why she is campaigning for Joe Biden.”

From CNN

“Fonda was a political activist in the counterculture era during the Vietnam War. She was photographed sitting on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun on a 1972 visit to Hanoi, during which she gained the nickname “Hanoi Jane”. During this time, she was effectively blacklisted in Hollywood. With Barbra Streisand and ten other entertainment business women, Fonda cofounded the Hollywood Women’s Political Committee in 1984, to help promote liberal politicians and policies. Fonda protested the Iraq War along with violence against women, and she describes herself as a feminist and environmental activist.[6] In 2005, along with Robin Morgan and Gloria Steinem, she cofounded the Women’s Media Center, an organization that works to amplify the voices of women in the media through advocacy, media and leadership training, and the creation of original content. Fonda serves on the board of the organization. Based in Los Angeles, she has lived all over the world, including six years in France and 20 in Atlanta.”

From Wikipedia

Just on a few personal notes first.

First Lady Jill Biden is 74 years old and if you watch the CNN video here with Jane Fonda and the First Lady and you never even heard of seen either woman before, hard to imagine that Jane is 12, almost 13 years older than Jill. That’s not a shot at Jill Biden, who I think is beautiful and still is. But even at 86, Jane Fonda is still a doll face.

Another personal note: it’s rare if ever that I’ve gotten through a Wolf Blizter interview where I didn’t feel like I needed a nap either during the interview, or right after. Inmates in prison would sleep well for weeks, if not years straight, if they had to listen to him speak everyday. He usually does an excellent, if not spot-on impression of Captain Obvious, or says something that’s already been said, as if he’s making an insightful comment. But I think he did a good job here, especially about the part why Jane Fonda is supporting President Biden.

And then the other thing is actress Rosario Dawson has nothing on Jane Fonda when it comes to Hollywood, left-wing, political activism. And she supported Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders for President in 2016, perhaps in 2020 as well. And Susan Sarandon supported Socialist Bernie in 2016 as well. I mean Jane basically took the side of the Communist North Vietnamese, at least against America, if not democratic South Vietnam as well in the late 1960s and early 1970s.

My only point here is if someone like a Jane Fonda can support a Henry Jackson/John Kennedy Liberal Democrat (meaning someone who believes in liberal democracy) for President of the United States, like a Joe Biden, then so can all of these young leftists in and outside of Hollywood, who are currently debating whether to not even vote, or vote for some third-party Socialist like a Jill Stein.

Jane makes the case that America would be a lot worst off if Donald Trump returns to The White House and that everything that they’re currently working for, would disappear in a new Trump Administration.

Michael Popok: ‘FED UP Melania TAUNTS Donald GOOD With Latest Move’

Meidas Touch_ FED UP Melania TAUNTS Donald GOOD With Latest MoveSource:Meidas Touch talking about Donald & Melania’s transactional relationship. It must be a slow news day.

Source:The New Democrat

“Melania Trump is using her refusal to support Trump in court or on the campaign trail in order to extract more money out of Trump for her and her son as a condition of her attending the debates and nominating convention. Michael Popok reports on Melania hiding from Trump in New York and becoming an intentional recluse to strengthen her bargaining position.”

From the Meidas Touch

“I’m not going to claim that I know Melania Trump well, or even personally. Very few people do. She gives new meaning to the term human confidential. (Actually, I think I just invented that term) She’s one of the most private people in the world.

But, as Melania’s own former aid Stephanie Winston Wolkoff told CNN anchor Jake Tapper and SW Wolkoff does know Melania very well, I mean she worked for her in New York and at The White House, her marriage with Donald is transactional.

Every relationship that Donald J. Trump has ever had has been transactional. So why would the relationship with his youngish and still very youngish looking, gorgeous, babydoll wife, whose still better looking than his daughters, be any different? She’s with Donald as long as that’s good for her.”

From The New Democrat

“Maybe I’ve thought about this for a while, but instead of creating The Apprentice 20 years ago, Donald Trump should’ve produced a real-life, real, reality TV show called The Trump’s. Or Trump Family.Org, because that’s exactly what they are.

Whatever you think of the case against Donald J. Trump (and The New Democrat has been very clear where it stands) this has been a horrible, real life, made for tabloid TV, and broadcast network TV movie of the week, from like the 1980s, nightmare for his current transactional wife Melania.

Again, I don’t pretend to know this woman, but she obviously doesn’t think her transactional husband is innocent. And apparently neither does Donald’s kids because they only show up after being criticized for not showing up at all. And nothing yet from his oldest daughter Ivanka and her husband, his son-in-law, Jared Kushner.”

From The New Democrat

“Just like my colleague Fred Schneider won’t pretend that he knows Melania Trump at all, let alone well, neither will I. She could’ve spoken to Donald this morning for all I know. (But if they did, it was probably through their I-phones, even from the same apartment)

But if you are familiar with Donald Trump’s hush money case in Manhattan, you know about circumstantial evidence. And if they’re not talking at all right now, that would fit into everything else that’s been going on with them the last 2 months or so:

Like the fact that she hasn’t even made a reality TV show me appearance, her own damn husband’s criminal trial, where jail is a possibility for him, now that’e he’s been convicted of not just 1, but 34 felonies.

As well as all the embarrassing information that came out in their transactional marriage. He’s not only cheated on her, but did with a porn actress, when she was pregnant with his son Barron.

The fact that he not only paid Stephanie Clifford (also known as Stormy Daniels) off, but did it right before the 2016 election.

And it was her idea to play the Access Hollywood tape as “locker room talk”.

But not communicating with Donald, this could be Melania’s way of getting back at him.”

From The New Democrat

“I saw part of the interview where Dr. Phil makes his “thick skin” comment to Mr. Trump. And the “Good Doctor” almost had a smirk on his face as he’s making this comment. And then later in this interview he’s talking to Trump about why Trump feels the need to seek revenge on his opponents. He contradicts himself during his own so-called interview, within minutes of the show.”

From The New Democrat

It must be a slow news day if both Michael Popok and I are talking about what’s basically a political tabloid story. I mean if Donald J. Trump wasn’t an ex-POTUS, whose now running to get his old job back, that he was fired from 3 1/2 years ago and is only running for President to stay out of prison and they were just Manhattan, or Miami professional celebrities/reality TV stars and Donald wasn’t a part-tine politician as well, this would just be a Manhattan, or Miami tabloid story.

As we keep saying here at The New Democrat, we’ve never met Melania Trump, don’t even have plans on ever meeting her, don’t want to meet her at this point. And it’s not like we don’t like her. I think she’s just too aloof of a person for anyone to really like or dislike her, especially when they don’t even know her.

So what we say here at The New Democrat is not out of anger or dislike for her. Actually, we call her Melani Baby at The New Democrat, because she has this Jaclyn Smith (for you Charlie’s Angels fans) quality about her, where it never matters how old she is, she always has this adorable disposition about her and just seems as sweet candy with every facial expression that she makes. Even if she’s a total witch (to be kind) in private.

But as we all know, the marriage (if you want to call it that) is 100% transactional. Donald has made Melania a very wealthy woman and has given her financial security of the rest of her life. He’s also given her a son that she seems to actually love and want the best for.

Melania has given Donald a gorgeous wife that he needed to not just become a politician, but President of the United States as well.

And the fact that Melania is almost never seen with her husband in public, perhaps even in private anymore, just might be because she doesn’t like him, knows exactly who Donald is, doesn’t want to be First Lady again, and is only staying in this relationship as long as it personally and financially benefits her and their son Barron.

The Bulwark: ‘Fox Preps Audience to Believe 2024 Election Results!’

The Bulwark_ They're STILL Doing this Sh_t!_ Fox Preps Audience to Believe 2024 Election Results!Source:The Bulwark with Tim Miller.

Source:The New Democrat

“They’re STILL Doing this Sh*t!? Fox Preps Audience to Believe 2024 Election Results! Tim breaks down Fox News’ continued problematic election fraud rhetoric.”

From The Bulwark

I think when honest people, people with strong character, people who were raised well, people who believe in family values, when these people are worried about losing, or are in trouble, they say that and why, at least when they’re questioned about it. And perhaps don’t even wait until they’re under oath, or being questioned under oath, or by law enforcement officers or agents, or prosecutors. At the very least, they don’t publicly lie about it, especially when they have a major audience. Because this is what good, honest, moral people do. At least that’s what the Republican Party talked about in the 1990s when they were preaching about character and family values.

But to be frank, we’re not talking about good, decent, moral, and honest people, in MAGA world. We’re talking about people who believe in winning at all costs. And when they think that’s not going to work, you make up excuses and lies about why the other side is winning, or going to win.

I think this it’s what’s going on with Greg Gutfeld over at the FOX News Channel right now. Which is really just MAGA Net, with a few exceptions and people who are true journalists over there, like the Shannon Bream’s, Neal Cavuto’s, Britt Hume’s, perhaps Margaret McCallum.

The MAGA militants and true activists that don’t even pretend to be Republicans (except perhaps when they’re running for office) let alone journalists, those folks come off as people who act and look institutionalized mental patients, who went on some field trip outside of their institution and never came back. Perhaps even escaped convicts.

But the people at what’s still called the FOX News Channel, are a lot smarter and saner then they seem to want their viewers to believe that they are. And these folks I think believe having a 34 time convicted felon, at the top of their ticket, who he and his movement represent a real threat to American liberal democracy, who struggles to get though a sentence without saying something crazy or lying, is a real problem for what’s left of the Republican Party today.

I think FNC right now is freaking out about not just Donald Trump losing in November, but taking Congressional Republicans down with him. And they don’t want to see President Biden with another Democratic Congress again, especially when the President could get at least 1 more Supreme Court appointment through in the next Congress.

Dana Bash: House Ethics Committee Makes Rare Statement About Matt Gaetz Investigation

CNN_ Ethics Committee Makes Rare Statement About Matt Gaetz InvestigationSource:CNN talking about U.S. Representative Matt Gaetz (MAGA, Florida) new investigation of him by the House Ethics Committee.

Source:The New Democrat

“The House Ethics Committee announced that it will continue to investigate certain allegations surrounding Rep. Matt Gaetz, including whether the Florida Republican engaged in sexual misconduct, while ending other portions of the probe. CNN’s Annie Grayer reports.”

From CNN

You know it’s a slow news day when I’m writing anything about U.S. Representative Matt Gaetz. The only 2 things that he’s accomplished in the 118th Congress (if you want to call them accomplishments) are almost preventing one man from his own party from becoming Speaker of the House and getting that same man vacated as Speaker 8 months later, for simply doing his job and preventing the U.S. Government from shutting down.

Having said that, if there are 2 committees left in Congress that are bipartisan, it’s the Senate Ethics Committee and the House Ethics Committee. And maybe the Joint Economic Committee between the House and Senate. And if Kevin McCarthy was smart, (which is never safe bet) he stacked the House Ethics Committee with real Republicans who support and supported him, before he was vacated as Speaker last September.

The other thing being, these rumors about MAGA Matt dealing with his sexual involvement with minors, goes back to 2018, before Democrats won back the House. The U.S. Justice Department spent 2 years investigating the Florida Representative about these allegations before deciding last year that there wasn’t enough evidence to indict him. Maybe the House Ethics Committee thinks they have new and better evidence now to go forward. As they say in Hollywood: stay tuned for more.

Jesse Dollemore: ‘Black Republicans Are CARRYING WATER FOR WHITE SUPREMACY With Garrison Hayes!!’

Jesse Dollemore_ Black Republicans Are CARRYING WATER FOR WHITE SUPREMACY w_ Garrison Hayes!!Source:Jesse Dollemore talking to Garrison Hayes about African-American Republicans.

Source:The New Democrat

“Jesse is joined by Garrison Hayes to talk about the confounding issue of Black people who vote for Republicans and who look the other way about Donald Trump’s vile behavior and the policy objectives of the Republican Party, which endeavors to oppress and strip hard-fought civil rights away from them.”

From Jesse Dollemore

I think the most intelligent thing that Jesse Dollemore said (and perhaps the only intelligent thing that Dollemore said here) was that no group of Americans and I would add no group of Americans of any race or ethnicity, is monolithic.

Obviously not all European-Americans are Republicans. The current President of the United States is an Irish-Catholic. Not all African-Americans are Democrats. Senator Tim Scott before he decided that he wanted Donald Trump to select him for Vice President, was basically a pragmatic, center-right, African-American Republican, from South Carolina.

I think one’s politics regardless of race or ethnicity, has a lot do with where they come from and how they were raised, as well as their own personal experiences.

If you come from a rural background and money was very tight for you when you were growing up, perhaps just barely got out of high school, maybe managed to get come vocational training, or perhaps where in a military for a short stint looking for a better life, but managed to get yourself a good blur-collar job when you finished school, you are probably going to be on the cultural-right in America. And you are probably not a big fan of immigration and multiculturalism either.

But if you come from an urban or suburban background and come from a good middle class family, you grew up with both parents, both parents have a good education, and you get a good education for yourself, doesn’t mean you’ll be a Democrat, necessarily, because someone of that background could be a center-right Republican, whose a Republican for economic reasons, but you are not a cultural warrior.

Or, someone with a metropolitan background growing up, could be a JFK, perhaps a Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, even a Joe Biden Democrat, whose a Democrat, but not a left-wing Democrat. But a Democrat who believes in liberal democracy, as well as opportunity and responsibility for all.

Again, African-Americans aren’t monolithic. Things like economic opportunity, education, including school choice, safe streets, accountability, are just as popular with metropolitan African-Americans, as they are with European-Americans. If it wasn’t for MAGA and the far-right in general in America, you would have a Republican Party not just competing for African-American voters, but Democrats would be forced to either change their politics, or get more European-Americans to vote for them.

Also, I guess this is the 2nd good point that Jesse Dollemore made. I think you have to distinguish with African-Americans who like Republican economic policies, versus the African-American wannabe political reality TV stars, who are simply trying to get rich off of MAGA and make a name for themselves. The Candace Owens, the Byron Donalds and others. Minus MAGA, Byron Donalds is probably just a back-benching U.S. Representative right now, that no one has heard of outside of his district.

Joe Walsh: ‘Only Biden Can Do This. Only Biden’

Joe Walsh_ Only Biden Can Do This_ Only BidenSource:White Flag With Joe Walsh talking about what Joe Biden needs to do to defeat Donald Trump.

Source:The New Democrat

“For the next five months, Republicans and the right will do all they can to convince the American people that Joe Biden is senile and completely out of it. It’s up to Joe Biden to refute that. In fact, only Biden himself can refute that. What a great opportunity.”

From White Flag With Joe Walsh

I agree with Joe Walsh that Joe Biden is the only one who can defeat Donald Trump and that he has to do it himself.

The thing that I would add to that is that people don’t like Donald Trump. I’m not talking about job approval or anything like that. Since 2017, Donald Trump’s approval rating has been somewhere around up 30s and topping out in the mid 40s.

In a two-way presidential election between himself and Hillary Clinton, Mr. Trump only got 45% of the popular vote. You would think a popular politician and presidential candidate would be in the 50s or better. And 4 years later again in a two-way presidential election, then President Trump only got 46% of the vote. Sitting President of the United States, who only manages 46% of the vote, who loses two states that Republicans almost never lose, at least since 1992, in Georgia and Arizona.

And with all the economic issues relating to the high interest rates, inflation, rising housing and banking costs, now former President Trump is basically in a dead even tie with President Biden.

So I think American voters of all political backgrounds have concluded that they don’t like Donald Trump and probably don’t want him to be President of the United States. But picking the next President of the United States is not like shopping around for a car or a house. It’s more like picking a meal on an airplane. (Hopefully in 1st class) It’s generally a choice between 2 people who can actually win the election in America. And it’s generally not about who you like more. But in many cases do you even like 1 of the choices or none of them. Or, maybe you just dislike 1 of the choices more than the other.

I think without the inflation and interest rates and with all the positive economic factors, like the job and economic growth, the rising wages and incomes, and inflation has finally stabilized at least at 3% and hopefully going down now, but if inflation was 1-1.5% even, Joe Biden even at 81 years old, has a 5-10 points right now. Because I think Independents would be saying, along with center-right Republicans who don’t want to vote for Donald Trump, they would be saying Joe Biden is old, but the economy is in good shape and the President is better suited than Donald Trump to deal with the foreign policy issues oversees.

So where I agree with Joe Walsh is that it’s up to Joe Biden to prove to Independents especially, that he’s simply up for the job right now, regardless of his age. He does that, I think he wins the Electoral College comfortably.

And why President Biden is convincing Independents that he’s up for the job both physically and mentally, he continues to show Donald Trump for the man that he exactly is as someone whose just in it for himself. (To quote the Biden Campaign) Who is imply running for President of the United States not to serve the people and to serve his country. But to stay out of prison and lock up his political opponents.

President Biden does these two things, he’ll have a great election night and we will know that he’ll be reelected if not on election night, before the sun comes up on the Wednesday after.
