George Carlin: On Politicians

George Carlin PoliticiansSource:HBO– The great political satirist George Carlin, on politicians in 1996.

Source:The Daily Journal

“I do not own this video. this is my tribute and way of promoting George Carlin’s work. But I’m sure they will still remove this. Anyway enjoy it while it’s here.”

From Dub Eye

America has Freedom of Speech and I love that, as long as we don’t threaten, libel, harass people or yell fire in a movie theater. Perhaps you can yell fire at a ballpark or outside or even in your house though, but I wouldn’t try that unless its the real thing, otherwise you might be asked the question: “What are you in for?” By a guy or girl named Bubba with hairy armpits and hasn’t showered since they were a kid. And you may say: “Uh, I yelled fire in a crowded place and they might say I’m in for murdering a grandmother. So I can steal her food stamps.” how small would you feel then?

I support freedom of speech as a Liberal of course even freedom of hate speech, expression like for pornography and other adult activities. But two groups of people to me at least who don’t get the right to complain, are people who didn’t bother to vote. I mean if you don’t do your part to make the system better, what the hell right do you have to complain about people who screwed up the system. The other people who I believe have no right to complain are people who spend too much money and then are disappointed about what they got for their money.

We get what we paid for. If you’re cheap, chances are you’re not going to get much in return. If you’re too generous chances are you are not going to get enough back in what you invested. You have to know what you’re paying or voting for and then spend and vote for what’s worth it to get what you want. I’ll give you a few of examples and I apologize they are sports related, but I’ll give you another example as well that’s not:

It’s like a general manager who spends 20M$ on a career backup quarterback to be his starter because that QB had one good season filling in for the starting QB, but then once they get to their new team they have a lousy season and the GM is thinking: “What 20M$ on a guy who completes 50% of his passes and throws more INT’s than TD’s and doesn’t even finish the season because the backup QB is better. I could’ve paid the schmuck who played QB for me last year that money and gotten a better deal”.

Because you’re paying for failure when you overpay and well my answer would be why the hell did you spend 20M$ on a guy who was a backup QB for 6-7 years. He was a backup that long because he wasn’t good enough to start for the most part and got his one break and took advantage of it and took that to the bank, but then came back to reality.

Think of a millionaire who has a horses face and then meets a hot woman who just wants him for his money. And then leaves him once she has it or a big part of it.

Another group of people who don’t have a right to complain are sports fans that go and watch all of their teams games. Take Washington Redskins fans who have led the NFL in attendance the last ten years at least, but then these people have the guts to complain about how bad their team is. If you don’t like them, stop giving them your money. Find something else to do with your time.

Another group of people that don’t have a right to complain are voters who complain about the same politicians, but then keep sending them back to office, by doing that you’re just encouraging more bad behavior. You’re telling them: “They must like the job I’m doing because they keep sending me back to office”.

As comedian George Carlin says, politicians come from the same places that we do. Have similar parents, families, schools, churches, etc. If you don’t like them, find someone who you like that will do a good job.

Make sure you do a good job researching that candidate, which will make you an educator voter. Which will make you a powerful voter, someone who won’t put up with the same garbage as uneducated voters. Or run for office yourself. But don’t complain, you only get what you voted and paid for.

My Sexy Cowgirls: ‘Sexy Cowgirls Get Shot in the Belly and Heart’

“Great video clip of 2 cowgirls , in the end both get shot in the belly and heart.”

From My Sexy Cowgirls

There’s a YouTube channel called My Sexy Cowgirls and they have a web site with I believe the same name as well. And they make videos with actress’s playing cowgirls from like the Old West but make it more modern with outfits more like in the 20th and 21st centuries as far as outfits. No more really long dress’ because they’ve been replaced with tight denim and leather jeans with cowgirl boots with the cowgirls hats.

Sort of like the Sharon Stone movie The Quick and the Dead from 1995 with Gene Hackman. The YouTube channel seems to either be gone or they stopped uploading videos which is too bad from at least my point of view and I’m sure many other guys point of view as well. Because these beautiful sexy women playing cowgirls in these videos doing either shootouts or bar fights just like in the Old West, but instead of having butch strong men play the roles they use young attractive sexy women instead and these videos are very entertaining.

Video Activist The Best Man From (1964) Some Things Never Change

Source:The Daily Press

I saw The Best Man the 1964 version for the first time in late 2008, during that presidential election between Barack Obama and John McCain on Turner Classic Movies which was doing a special where they showed political movies all night one night a week in October. The Best Man is about essentially a divided party and they aren’t sure who they should nominate for President.

One candidate from the liberal or progressive wing of the party Henry Fonda and the other candidate played by Cliff Robertson coming from the more conservative wing of the party. It reminds me of political battles that the Democratic Party had back in the 1960s, 50s and 40s where a more progressive candidates like Adlai Stevenson, John Kennedy or Hubert Humphrey going up against someone like Strom Thurmond when he was unfortunately a Democrat or George Wallace someone like that and of course the Progressive would always win at least going back to Woodrow Wilson.

And the progressive would always win because the Democratic Party going back to the 1920s or so has always been the liberal party in America, even though for a long time they’ve had a right-wing faction from the South and this movie was very realistic because it was an example of how presidential nomination battles were in the past up until the 1970s or so, where you didn’t know for the most part who the party would nominate. And these things would be decided at the convention because the convention delegates could then vote for whoever they wanted.

The Best Man was a movie about looking in to what presidential politics looked like at least into the primary process of what presidential candidates go through and have to do in getting nominated for president even the dirty politics of it where both candidates know that the convention is split. And that they both need an extra edge to put them on top and they both find potential scandals in the others past. With the Henry Fonda character, his scandal was about him seeing shrinks or being on medication for depression.

With Cliff Robertson who was the right-winger a big believer in traditional values. His potential scandal was pretty ironic because apparently he had a homosexual affair when he was in the military and both candidates knew that if their scandal got out that their chance of winning the presidential nomination were over right there. So it became a question of who would leak the story about the other first or not leak the story and they spend a lot of the movie, trying to scare the other one and get them to drop out of the race, the Cliff Robertson character even offers the vice presidential nomination to the Henry Fonda character if he drops out.

To me the The Best Man represents presidential nomination contests the way they used to be and should be when conventions actually meant something and they were worth watching. Especially if you’re a political junky like myself, because you didn’t know who the convention was going to nominate for president until they held vote and I wish we got back to that type of convention for both parties. Today political conventions are more of a formality and realty TV more than anything else, the presidential nominee already has wrapped up the nomination now by March or April.

George Carlin: On The Death Penalty

Source:The Daily Times

You know who my favorite people in politics as a blogger to write about, not that I have any respect for them, political hypocrites, like Religious Conservatives who claim they are Pro-Life. And that life is sacred and so forth which is how they justify their anti-abortion positions. But then tend to be pro- death penalty, so I guess life isn’t that sacred, just some lives. I guess they could change their position on abortion to, pro-innocent life. But that doesn’t have the same ring to it, does it as pro-life.

Of course not all pro-life people are hypocrites on the abortion issue. Like Catholics who tend to be pro Life on abortion and the death penalty. If people who are pro-life on abortion, but pro-death on the death penalty aren’t hypocritical on the life issue, then they sure as hell at least have a flexible position on the life issue right. But hell we live in a liberal democracy right, as much as Religious Conservatives hate that. And rather live in Iran instead or a place like that and I say to them. “What’s keeping you in America, I’ll help you move”.

Just to be fair there are people who are hypocritical on the life issue. But from the other side, people who are pro-choice on abortion (but not pro-choice on many other things) and Pro Life on the death penalty. People who have no problem with a women who decides to get an abortion in the 10th or 11th month. Because the women decides on her own or perhaps after consulting people including the father of her baby. That “you know what I change my mind, I’m not going to have this baby”. But then have a serious problem with a serial murderer getting the death penalty or even a life sentence in prison, because “they believe its cruel and unusual punishment.

Generally speaking for me I don’t have a problem with any position with what someone takes on Political issues. As long as their positions are factually based and not made out of ignorance. Its the hypocrisy that gets me, like being both pro-life and pro-death, the same person and another person being pro- choice and pro-life. Thats just to convenient for me, make up your mind what are you. If you’re pro-life, you’re pro-life, otherwise don’t call yourselves pro-life. And instead say you’re pro- life on abortion or the death penalty.

Me personally just to put my cards on the table, I’m pro-choice on abortion, well 98-99% pro- choice. I have an issue with partial birth abortion, when the baby is basically ready to be delivered. And just waiting for the mother to deliver the baby and pro-choice on a lot of other issues. But I’m also for protecting innocent life and preventing innocent people from being murdered. That makes me pro- death penalty for some murderers like serial murderers. Who represent a threat to murder again and have no remorse for their past murders. And are even proud of them and I’m also at times pro-war, when I believe innocent life is at stake and we can prevent those innocent lives from being taken. I have no remorse for serial murderers like Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy and how they were put to death.

Not all lives to me are worth saving, especially serial murderers like Charlie Manson. Who didn’t have the balls to murder anyone himself and instead had his crime family perform his evil for him. And then lies about his role in those murders and has been lying about them for over forty years now. If he was killed tomorrow, I wouldn’t celebrate it, I’m not evil or anything, but I would see it as justifiable homicide. And if the person who killed him got off for the killing, I wouldn’t have a problem with it. The man should’ve gotten the death penalty thirty years ago and finally got what he deserve. Not all Lives are worth saving but Innocent Lives sure as hell are.

Real Time With Bill Maher: New Rule, Stupid People

Source:The Daily Journal

Bill Maher loves to make fun of the Christian Right, or does a damn good job of impersonating someone who loves to make fun of the Christian Right, so good he should win an Oscar. Why not they are big easy target, kinda like aiming at an ocean from a beach. So why not shoot, instead of comedians and bloggers actually sitting down and putting their hand to their chin and going “hum what should I write about now”. How about just listen to ignorant people talk and make fun of them instead. Thats what I always say anyway, or just said it actually that’s the first time I just said that, but who’s counting, well I guess I just did.

I mean think about whose easier to make fun of then ignorant people, especially when they’re in charge like I don’t know in the White House, or Congress.

Examples of doing dumb things-

Sending the country to war based on false intelligence to use as an example. Trying to link Iraq with Al-Qaeda, which is like trying to link a prostitute with the Southern Baptist Convention. They don’t go together, sure there are Southern Baptists that like Prostitutes, but they generally don’t go together. Or trying to link homosexuality with the 9/11 Attacks. If these people weren’t so stupid, I might be mad at them just because of their hate. But since they are so stupid, its hard for me not to feel anything, but sorry for them. They are victims of our public education system and not being raised right.

And because of this, the rest of society gets to laugh at them and put up with them. Here’s another one, Catholics can’t go to heaven because they aren’t Baptist. Isn’t Heaven meant for good people. When we don’t raise our kids right, or make sure they get a good education, they suffer the consequences of that of course. And a lot of them end up in our criminal justice system generally as guests. But the rest of society, sure gets some new easy big targets to shoot at, like a blimp over a stadium. (In other words Rush Limbaugh) But we have to deal with their stupidity, their lack of intelligence. Like what we had on Iraq before we went to war. Especially when they are pressured to run for high office to help their party. Because of their name recognition and who their father is and they end up having to make decisions.

The presidency isn’t ignorant politicians, or it sure as hell shouldn’t be. Can you imagine what it must have been like for Condolezza Rice to explain intelligence reports to George W. Bush. She must have had to use drawings or try to compare military combat with football games or something. This whole idea, or attacking another country because they may attack you in the future. First of all our national defense is so strong that would never happen. Because any foreign fighter plane or planes or warships that attempted to invade the United States because of our radar system would first be warned before they got close or could launch an attack. And then we could blow them away as well. The rest of the world knows this, which is why we haven’t been attacked by a foreign military inside America since 1941.

Ignorant people on the Far-Right and Far-Left are fun to make fun of, lets just admit that. We can’t or shouldn’t be nice to everyone. For every Saint that we have, we need a few (pardon the term) assholes to keep it real. So most of the country can stay within striking distance of reality. (When they aren’t high) But we need to remember that we pay a price for ignorance as a country, especially when it reaches high office. Because we as a country or state lets say, have together paid a price for their stupid decisions. So let’s do our part to prevent as many future ignorant people in the future as we can.

FORA-TV: PJ O’Rourke- ‘Conservatives and Fiscal Responsibility’

FORA-TV_ PJ O'Rourke- 'Conservatives and Fiscal Responsibility'

Source:FORA-TV– Political satirist P.J. O’Rourke, at the National Press Club in Washington, talking about the lack of fiscal responsibility in the Republican Party.

Source:Real Life Journal

“Political satirist P.J. O’Rourke criticizes the fiscal irresponsibility of recent conservative legislators. He says the poorest and least advantaged always suffer the most from any of the “three ways to pay for the electorates’ fiscal irresponsibility.

Deliberately offensive, determinedly provocative and extremely funny, PJ O’Rourke is the conservative journalist and satirist that makes even lefties laugh.

In Australia recently as a guest of the Centre for Independent Studies, he used this talk at the National Press club to deliver a scattergun critique of conservatism.

During the Q&A session he answers questions about gun control, the GFC and his personal drug use. – Australian Broadcasting Corporation

Patrick Jake O’Rourke is an American political satirist, journalist, and writer. Born in Toledo, Ohio, he was educated at Miami University (Ohio) and Johns Hopkins University.”

From FORA-TV

What is fiscal responsibility, well to me that means spending what you have and can afford and nothing else. You don’t have to be a Conservative to believe in that, just have common sense. Just like you don’t have to be an American to like apple pie, but if you are an American you probably have more access to apple pie than let’s say if you’re a Chinese living in, I don’t know let’s say China. ( Just to use as an example)

But you would think Conservatives would believe in fiscal responsibility, because how often they preach about responsibility. But of course New Gingrich has preached about family values in the past, haven’t heard one of his sermons lately, no idea why. Perhaps it had something to do with the fact he had an affair with one of his staffers when he was Speaker of the House.

Well, the right-wing will say that President Bill Clinton had an affair with a White House intern. But Bill Clinton doesn’t preach about family values, kinda the way Fidel Castro doesn’t preach about the need for democracy in Russia. His consistency would be severely lacking there for obvious reasons. Which gets me to the point about the current Republican Party, the Party of Reagan. Low taxes, economic liberty, individual responsibility, they use to be the party of fiscal responsibility. Until they woke up and realized they had a Republican President and Congress back in 2003.

In 2003 when the Republican Party had just won back the Senate, to go along with the House that they already had and President George W. Bush, decided who needs fiscal responsibility, Congress has the authority to borrow at will. “If it’s legal, then it must be the right thing to do”. Kinda like someone using the logic: “everyone else is doing it, (fill in the blank) it must be all right”. Well if all these people (not everyone literally, I hope) stuck knives up their noses until they were massively bleeding, would you do that to. Sometimes you have to use your own judgement and not play follow the leader like a six-year old.

By the way, the Republican Party woke up again in 2009 and noticed that there was a Democratic President and a Democratic Congress with a 10T$ federal debt and a 1T$ deficit and decided: “oh boy (or something to that affect) now we’ll be the party of fiscal responsibility and blame Democrats for the problems we created! Thats our ticket back to power!’ Or at least some power and it worked. The GOP won back the House of Representatives in 2010. In case you’ve been in a coma for a few years, or vacationing in a cave in Afghanistan, if you were doing those things, I hope you have some pictures or brought back some kabob. Or even survived the experience, I heard there’s a war going on over there or something.

I’m not saying the Democratic Party is innocent here, even though I’m a Democrat we have what’s called the Progressive Caucus made up of a bunch of 21st Century Socialists and want to move America to Sweden. Well, actually design our Federal Government around the Swedish Government and double the size of our Federal Government. And if you think you pay too much in taxes right now, move to Sweden because your taxes would be lower there if the so-called Progressive Caucus/Party ever came to power in America.

What was great about America back in the day lets says 1980s and 90s, is you had a real Conservative Republican Party in the classical sense and a real Liberal Democratic Party again in the classical sense. And of course you had your whack jobs, that would escape from the mental institution or get released by a drunk doctor and run and get elected to Congress. But those people weren’t in charge, the adults in both parties were. Today the whack jobs in both parties have enough power, that if you don’t do exactly what they want, you may get fired.

Democrats and Republicans today who are not to sound crazy, may face a primary challenge which is why almost nothing gets done anymore because the adults in both parties don’t have enough power to do what they want to do. And are afraid to work with the other side and if you’re a believer in limited government like myself thats not always a bad thing. The least the Federal Government does, the more power the people have.

Its hard not to get excited seeing a woman this attractive and sexy in the lake dancing in the lake and seeing her get all of her clothes wet and good clothes too. Probably spent pretty good money on those tight denim jeans and doing these things for the pure entertainment of guys and I’m sure for the green paper as well that people use to pay their bills. Thank God for women like this to be willing to do these things in public for guys attention and post these videos publicly.

Another blog post just for the pure pleasure of blogging seeing something on-line that gave me a bit of ride to the point that I wanted to post it which is what I’m doing here. And not to make some broader point about politics and life and what she done in the world and all of that. There are plenty of posts like that and sometimes bloggers and I’m one need to blog just for the pure fun of it and so we can let loose and not have to be so serious.

George Carlin: ‘Honesty & Bill Clinton’

George Carlin - Honesty & Bill Clinton (2013) - Google Search

Source:Orgasmic Potatoe– the great political satirist George Carlin on honesty, perhaps in 1997.

Source:The Daily Times

“George Carlin knows where it’s at.”

Source:Orgasmic Potatoe

This whole George Carlin routine about American voters and the politicians that they elect and reelect goes to his whole argument about American democracy and government, that we get the government that we deserved based on the people that we elect and reelect.

Americans all the time say they want their public officials to be honest, but let’s be real for a minute and then we can go back to the bullshit: When public officials are honest, they tend to get fired and what do public officials tend to care most about, (again goes to being real) their jobs. Which is exactly why they say one thing to one crowd and another thing to another crowd. They are pro-gun control in big cities and pro-2nd Amendment in rural areas. When they know they need the votes of both groups to get reelected.

And to go to another point about George Carlin’s argument about American democracy and government: our politicians can only be as good as the people that elect and reelect them. When we vote for and elect, good, honest, and intelligent people (which seems to happen about as often as it snows in South Florida in July) those are the folks that we get to represent us.

But when we elect and reelect crooks and liars (which happens every election cycle) those are the folks that are going to represent us. So I ask you: who’s fault is it for all of the corruption in our political system?

George Carlin: Stupid Bullshit

Source:Free State MD

Imagine a world without stupidity, hey that’s the title of this blog, well sort of, sometimes it helps to pay attention to what you are writing, but sometimes it can also cost you. Because you might think that “damn I’m a bad writer” and if you are wondering about the language? Well the title of this blog should’ve been a very big clue. Like the size of a dinosaur actually and if that’s still not big enough for you, then you are part of the stupid bullshit problem in America that’s holding us down.

But seriously imagine a world without stupid bullshit and as you are imagining that, imagine a world without Rick Santorum, Michele Bachmann, Michael Moore, Melissa Harris-Perry, to name some examples. You think a world without stupid people, well that could be big problem. Because who would we have to make fun of anymore. I thought of that and decided its a chance worth risking because. Of all the stupidity that would be moved to Siberia or some place in hell like that. As the smart people are now in charge.

Imagine a world where we had politicians and other public officials who actually knew what the hell they were doing. We wouldn’t go to war over bogus evidence because we would have a President and a National Security Council who actually knew how to read intelligence reports. We wouldn’t have a fiscal cliff because we would have a President and a Congress who would be smart enough not to put the country through that. We wouldn’t have a sequester because we wouldn’t have a President and a Congress who were smart enough not to cut things across the board.

Meaning cutting parts of government that we need as much as waste in government. You might think a world without stupid people would be a problem. Because we would have a Congress that actually knew what the hell they were doing and start being very productive as passing a lot of legislation and as a Liberal I generally believe more laws that are passed, the less freedom that we would have. But think about it this way, no more stupid people in Congress, House or Senate. And replaced by people who actually know how to write good legislation.

A world without stupid people would be a world with a no stupid zone. To sort of borrow Bill O’Reilly’s no spin zone and Billy wouldn’t be allowed in the no stupid zone because it would be a world without stupidity and things like intolerance, racism, homophobia. And other types of bigotry would be eliminated. Because all the stupid people would be rounded up because they wouldn’t have the same constitutional rights as smart people. And the stupid people would be sent to Siberia or some place and the smart people would rule the world.

Washington Redskins: Redskins Chronicles: 18 Plays, the Story of Super Bowl 22

Source:The New Democrat

This game was really won on two plays. The two touchdown passes to WR’s Rickey Sanders and Gary Clark. The rest of it as we now know was a show between a dominant football team the Redskins in this game, against a good young football team but a team that was simply overmatched physically up front and not enough speed in the secondary in the Denver Broncos defense to cover three great fast wide receivers in Art Monk a Hall of Famer, Gary Clark who should be in the Hall of Fame and Rickey Sanders perhaps the best third WR in the NFL at this point.

This is a game that made a drug addict whose been a screw up most of his life as an adult, look like a great running back in RB Timmy Smith for the Redskins who only played in this game because Pro Bowl RB George Rogers who probably deserves consideration for the Hall of Fame as well, was not healthy because of a bad foot, but that is how dominant the Redskins offensive line was in this game. And how great they were most of the time going up against an overmatched undersized Denver Broncos front seven.

Going into this game it looked like a great matchup. The Broncos having the best young quarterback in the NFL if not the best QB of the era. Against a very good team on both sides of the ball, the Redskins. With not a lot of great players, but with a few great players and a lot of very good players. But the game was a mismatch because of how the Redskins dominated the Broncos up front on both sides of the ball once the Redskins figured out the Broncos offense and defense.
