Nicki Swift: ‘Julia Louis-Dreyfus Brutally Shades Seinfeld & It’s Clear Why’

Nicki Swift_ Julia Louis-Dreyfus Brutally Shades Seinfeld & It's Clear WhySource:Nicki Swift talking about Julia L. Dreyfus & Jerry Seinfeld.

Source:The New Democrat

“Jerry Seinfeld and Julia Louis-Dreyfus had legendary on-screen chemistry during their time together on “Seinfeld”. But as it turns out, they don’t quite see eye to eye in real life.”

From Nicki Swift

Just on a personal note about this blog first.

The New Democrat has a history going back to 2014 when the modern political correctness movement broke, defending the First Amendment rights of comedians and other commentators, regardless of their politics, to say whatever what they want. Short of inciting violence, committing fraud, false advertising, ordering hits on their comedic and political rivals, etc. And then we leave it up to the marketplace, the people to be able to weigh in on what’s funny, what’s appropriate, and what’s not, etc.

We do this because we’re liberal democrats in the ideological sense. Meaning we’re people who believe in liberal democracy, who promote it as much as possible and take on the opponents of liberal democracy, both from the far-left, as well as the far-right, who have real issues with individual rights, perhaps especially free speech.

Now having said all of that, I don’t know Julia L. Dreyfus or Jerry Seinfeld personally. Like a lot of bloggers, I have to talk about them from a distance. But from following their careers as a fan, who watched Seinfeld every week when it was on NBC in the 1990s and years after that when it was on syndication, you can tell that these people have different career interests and motives.

Jerry Seinfeld has always been the comedian’s comedian. And what I mean by that is he’s always believed that has every comedian should and does have the right to joke about anything that they want. Especially since as he’s said, jokes are just jokes. They’re not real. And of course people can be offended by that, but the counterpunch that they have there is that they have a First Amendment right to express how they feel about the comedian that they believe uses hateful humor.

Julia L. Dreyfus, is simply an entertainer. She’s someone whose going to follow the trends, especially the political trends. And since she’s in Hollywood, it’s cool right now to sound like you are on the Left who fights for the underdogs and willing to protect them from everything and everyone, including from themselves. Even if in private life, you don’t believe in any of that leftist propaganda, especially as it relates to free speech.

You can see what happens to a lot of entertainers just since Donald Trump has come on the political scene just 9 years ago. I mean forget about sounding like you are on the far-right and you are a MAGA member. If you sound like you are even center-right, someone like a Jerry Seinfeld, that can cost you gigs and shows. But of course people like actor Dean Cain whose been in missing in action (so to speak in Hollywood) since 2016 or so. And of course Jon Vaught who is a full-long, Donald Trump MAGA man.

Again, I don’t know Jerry Seinfeld or Julia Dreyfus personally. But this sounds more like a disagreement as it relates to style and image, as it does to what’s appropriate and what’s appropriate when it comes to comedy.

I think Seinfeld is about comedy and being a comedian and fighting for his right and the rights of other comedians to continue to do their jobs and not get cancelled, simply because a lot of young, overeducated, over-caffeinated, urban, coffee house hipsters, are offended by the comedians humor. Whereas Louis Dreyfus is about protecting her image with left-wing, urban hipsters in America.

Mona Charen & A.B. Stoddard: ‘JUSTICE PREVAILS! Hunter Biden Conviction Blow Up GOP Attacks On Joe Biden!’

The Bulwark_ JUSTICE PREVAILS! Hunter Biden Conviction Blow Up GOP Attacks On Joe Biden!Source:The Bulwark with Mona Charen & A.B. Stoddard talking about the Hunter Biden convictions.

Source:The New Democrat

“In this preview of the Just Between Us podcast (exclusively for Bulwark+ members), Mona Charen and A.B. Stoddard discuss the verdict in Hunter Biden’s trial.”

From The Bulwark

Just to pick up on Mona Charen’s and A.B. Stoddard’s point about how MAGA is going to try to spin the Hunter Biden convictions, this what Matt Whitaker told Newsmax about it:

“Matthew Whitaker, the former Acting Attorney General under President Donald Trump, told Newsmax on Wednesday Hunter Biden’s felony convictions came after the Justice Department tried to sweep his crimes under the rug.

Appearing on “Newsline,” Whitaker said Biden’s three felony convictions are step one, as he faces a tax evasion trial in September. The Justice Department has allowed other alleged crimes by Biden, the son of President Joe Biden, to expire under the statute of limitations.

Jurors found Biden, 54, guilty of lying to a federally licensed gun dealer, making a false claim on the application by saying he was not a drug user and illegally having the gun for 11 days. The jury in Wilmington, Delaware, deliberated for about three hours over two days.

Whitaker noted the Department of Justice was all set to offer Biden a sweetheart plea deal on the gun charges until the judge stepped in.

“They got their hand caught in the cookie jar,” Whitaker said. “The judge identified this and asked basic questions to smoke this out.”

In the wake of convictions for Trump and Biden, Whitaker said the justice system should work for all Americans.

“It shouldn’t be used to pick off leading political candidates on either side,” Whitaker said. “We shouldn’t have cases where we don’t know what the charges are and what the convictions are.”

From Newsmax

Just to correct a few things that Matt Whitaker said first.

The investigation that led to the convictions of Hunter Biden yesterday, started in early 2018 when Jeff Session was still U.S. Attorney General, under President Donald Trump. But Matt Whitaker already knows this because he became Acting Attorney General in late 2018 right after President Trump fired Attorney General Sessions for doing his job.

If U.S. DOJ wanted to “sweep this investigation under the rug”, they could’ve dismissed the case shortly after Joe Biden became President of the United States.

But we know what the MAGA spin and plays are going to be here:

They were just fake convictions to make it look like the justice system works for both Democrats and MAGA members equally. But then Hunter Biden will get off with a very light sentence.

And the other move will be that they’ll simply stop talking about it, at least to the ,mainstream media. Because perhaps even MAGA can get tired of sounding and looking like idiots on national TV, (with Marjorie T. Greene being the exception to that) and it the Hunter convictions just reenforces the fact that we don’t have a separate justice system for Democrats and MAGA members.

Duke Wilson: Ed Too Tall Jones Highlights

Duke Wilson_ Ed _Too Tall_ Jones HighlightsSource:Duke Wilson with a look at the great Dallas Cowboys DE Ed Too Tall Jones.

Source:The New Democrat

“One of the biggest players in NFL history. Standing at 6’9″, Jones was a versatile defender who could run the passer and stuff the run. He retired early in 1979, but returned after a year of boxing where he entered his prime. He was 1x First Team All Pro, 2x Second Team All Pro, and had 106 sacks in his career.”

From Duke Wilson

I think a good way to look at the NFL career of Ed Jones is to look at what defensive ends and offensive tackles were like back then. I think offensive tackles have always been bigger in the sense that they’ve been heavier than defense ends and perhaps taller as well. OT’s tend to rely on size and strength to block DE’s and rush ends. DE’s and rush ends tend to rely on speed, quickness, and agility, to get past the OT whose trying to block them and get to the QB or running back running the ball.

But then ED Jones comes into the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys in 1974 in a decade where the average offensive tackle is maybe at best 260-265 pounds, 6’3, 6’4. And ED Jones is 6’9, 265-275, maybe 280 pounds, when he came back to the Cowboys, the size a big NBA power forward or center. So he’s bigger, stronger, perhaps even quicker, than most of the offensive lineman, who are trying to block him. He was sort of like Reggie White, but 10 years earlier, where he’s simply bigger, stronger, and quicker, than most of the offensive lineman who are trying to block him, as a defensive end, not a stud nose tackle.

NFL history fans love to talk about how great Harvey Martin was who was on the other side of those great Cowboys defensive lines in the 1970s and early 80s. But the fact there were very few, if any offensive tackles in the 11 years that Harvey Martin played from 1973-84, who were physically capable of blocking Ed Jones. Which meant Harvey was always getting one-on-one matchups. While Too Tall was getting an offensive tackle in front of him and always at least 1 tight end as well to help block him. I wouldn’t say Ed Jones made Harvey Martin’s career. But he sure as hell made his career, along with Jim Jeffcoat’s career, who was another excellent Cowboys pass rusher, a helluva lot easier in the 1980s.

I think the reason why Ed Jones is not in the Pro Football Hall of Fame today, is because you already have a lot of great Cowboy defensive players in there. Jones played with a lot of other great players including Randy White, Jethro Puhe, Larry Cole, Harvey Martin, he was somewhat quiet, so he didn’t get a lot of media attention. But you watch those old Cowboy games from the 1970s and 80s, especially from CBS Sports, the sportscasters and the fans who watch those games, Ed Jones’s opponents, will tell you how great he was.

Even though I’m a die hard Redskins fan and saying anything good about any Cowboy, could probably put my physical health in jeopardy, I think he’s one of the best all around NFL defensive lineman ever. And he should’ve been in the Hall of Fame a longtime ago.

Ben Meiselas: ‘SCARED Donald Trump Starts LEAKING Plan to RUN AWAY’

Meidas Touch_ SCARED Donald Trump Starts LEAKING Plan to RUN AWAYSource:Meidas Touch talking about 34 time convicted felon Donald J. Trump and some supposed plan to keep him from debating President Joseph R. Biden.

Source:The New Democrat

“MeidasTouch host Ben Meiselas reports on Donald Trump using his surrogates like Sean Hannity to set the stage for him running away from the debates against President Biden.”

From the Meidas Touch

As my colleague Rik Schneider wrote earlier today:

“Just a quick thought here first. Mark Penn who is or was a longtime Democratic political strategist, dunked the ball in the basket when he said that: “I’d say he accepted it. He accepted it in the lion’s den. If I were Donald Trump, I would have done some better negotiating here, but I don’t think he can back out now without really looking cowardly,” Penn replied.”

That’s the whole point here. You can already see that Sean Hannity, at least, the most popular and perhaps powerful FOX News anchor inside of the MAGA movement, is worried about Donald Trump debating Joe Biden because he thinks that Trump would lose to the President. And you can already see how MAGA would spin that if DJT loses:

Sean Hannity: “I think we’ll see the return of “Jacked-Up Joe.” Whatever Joe drank, ate, took before the State of the Union — maybe it was just Red Bull and caffeine pills. I don’t know.”

From The New Democrat

I disagree with Ben Meiselas and agree with FOX News political analyst Mark Penn here:

“I’d say he accepted it. He accepted it in the lion’s den. If I were Donald Trump, I would have done some better negotiating here, but I don’t think he can back out now without really looking cowardly,” Penn replied.”

Donald Trump and company wouldn’t be able to escape that. The question for days and perhaps weeks after that the mainstream media would be asking, perhaps even The Wall Street Journal: “Who or what is Donald Trump afraid of?” With the speculation being that he’s afraid of Joe Biden and looking weak in a debate against Joe Biden, the President of the United States.

I get the fact that back in April when Donald Trump accepted President Biden’s offer to debate him in June, that was before then Defendant Don became 34 time Convicted Felon Don. And the felony convictions have put Donald Trump so much on defense that you even now have Republicans worrying about Mr. Trump’s chances in November.

But the fact is DJT and company already agreed to this debate. And backing out now when the news about him is already pretty bad, where he’s had probably he 2 worst weeks of his political career back-to-back, would just make his campaign and life even worst than it’s now.

Sean Hannity On Donald Trump Debating Joe Biden

Media Matters For America_ Sean Hannity Asks if it Would be “Wise” For Donald Trump “To Just Pass On The First Debate"Source:Media Matters For America discussing whether or not 34 time convicted felon Donald J. Trump, should even be debating the President of the United States Joseph R. Biden.

Source:The New Democrat

“SEAN HANNITY (HOST): I think we’ll see the return of “Jacked-Up Joe.” Whatever Joe drank, ate, took before the State of the Union — maybe it was just Red Bull and caffeine pills. I don’t know. Whatever it was, that was not the normal Joe. We never saw it before and we haven’t seen it since. But we will see it for the debate.

Now, there are some even saying, Mark, that Donald Trump might be wise to just pass on the first debate, wait until he’s nominated, then debate him. What would you say to that?”

From Media Matters For America

“The first presidential debate is set to take place June 27 at CNN’s studios in Atlanta. The event was always going to occur, but that didn’t stop Donald Trump from spending weeks goading his opponent into accepting the details. Now it seems that the presumptive GOP presidential nominee may be trying to weasel his way out of the situation.

Fox News host Sean Hannity floated the idea Monday night, wondering aloud if Trump should “pass on the debate.”

“I think we’ll see the return of ‘Jacked-Up Joe,’” Hannity began, speculating about Biden’s abilities. “Whatever Joe drank, ate, took before the State of the Union—maybe it was just Red Bull and caffeine pills. I don’t know. Whatever it was, that was not the normal Joe. We never saw it before, and we haven’t seen it since. But we will see it for the debate.”

“Now, there are some even saying, Mark, that Donald Trump might be wise to just pass on the first debate, wait until he’s nominated, then debate him,” Hannity said, speaking to Harris Poll chairman Mark Penn. “What would you say to that?”

“I’d say he accepted it. He accepted it in the lion’s den. If I were Donald Trump, I would have done some better negotiating here, but I don’t think he can back out now without really looking cowardly,” Penn replied.

Hannity then took it a step further, suggesting that Trump would be better off during the debate if moderators muted his mic.

“Joe might have done Donald Trump a favor, and I say this affectionately, by insisting that when it’s not his turn to speak that they mute his microphone, ’cause I think that was a mistake in the first debate in 2020,” Hannity said, recalling Trump’s terrible performance the first time the pair squared off in the last election.

Hannity has held a close relationship with Trump for years. The two reportedly exchanged upward of 80 text messages between the 2020 election and Biden’s 2021 inauguration, with Hannity acting as a pseudo-adviser to the former president. Trump, however, has stayed surprisingly mum on the debate, even with the reality of the event just two weeks off.”

Because we already know what the relationship between personal responsibility and the modern Republican Party is. They go together like mustard and chocolate cake. It can’t possibly be their fault, or their guy’s fault when they screw up. It’s always someone or something else that’s at fault.

It can’t be the fact that the modern Republican Party is about to nominate (and the Republican Party still has time to come to their senses) someone who is a 34 time convicted felon, whose only running for President of the United States to stay out of prison and lock up his political opponents, including Republicans.

MAGA always have to find the political escape hatch and blame someone, or something else for their own failures. That’s basically what Sean Hannity is doing here. He’s privately, but in public suggesting that DJT shouldn’t debate President Biden. And already has an excuse ready in case DJT loses to the President and looks bad doing so.

Donald J. Trump On Military Veterans

The Independent: Donald Trump Says Only a ‘Psycho’ Would Call War Dead ‘Suckers & Losers’ – Which a General Says Trump DidSource:The Independent talking about Donald J. Trump’s past comments on American military veterans.

Source:The New Democrat

“Donald Trump is again denying that he called American soldiers who died in World War I in France “suckers” and “losers,” as attention has returned to the alleged comments during Joe Biden’s recently concluded state visit to the country.

During a rally Sunday in Las Vegas, the former president called the alleged comments “disinformation” reported by the “fake news.”

“Think of it from a practical standpoint, I’m standing there with generals and military people, in a cemetery and I look at them, I say, ‘These people are suckers and losers,’” he began.”

“Now, think of it,” he continued, “unless you’re a psycho or a crazy person or a very stupid person—who would say that anyway—but who would say it to military people?”

From Yahoo News

“According to a new report from The Atlantic magazine, Trump has repeatedly referred to service members as ‘losers’ and ‘suckers.’ In 2018, the mag reports, Trump asked why he was scheduled to visit a military memorial in France. Watch for the full story.”

From Now This Impact

“CNN anchor and military spouse Brianna Keilar reacts to The Atlantic’s report claiming President Trump called soldiers “losers” and “suckers.” President Trump has denied the allegations and CNN has not independently verified the report.”

From CNN

“Donald Trump: “He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren’t captured”

From CSPAN

For most people, I think having to meet your probation officer, after being convicted 34 times of 34 felonies, and being in real risk of getting sentenced to probation, home confinement, perhaps even jail (the jail part is probably not likely) would be a pretty bad day. But I’m only mentioning what Donald J. Trump has apparently said about our past military veterans, because he once today again denied calling them losers, at least according to Forbes Magazine.

This is a who do you believe story because there’s no video evidence that I’m at least aware of, of Donald Trump calling American military veterans losers. But it’s a he-said, he-said story between a former U.S. Marine General, former U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, as well as one of President Donald J. Trump’s former Chief’s of Staff, versus a man who got out military service because of bone spurs, who struggles to get through a sentence (even an incomplete sentence) without lying, or at the very least making a complete false statement.

The fact that DJT would call a man in U.S. Naval Lieutenant John McCain, who was an American POW in Vietnam, who could’ve gone home a lot sooner than he did, but who stayed back because he wouldn’t give the Vietcong information that would put his fellow Naval officers lives in jeopardy, a loser, gives you pretty good insight about who Donald J. Trump feels about our most distinguished Americans. As well as Donald Trump not going or attending military funerals and his own staff members begging him to even allow certain military funerals to even be held in the first place.

Jesse Dollemore: ‘Donald Trump PROVES HE’S LOST IT At Las Vegas Rally’

Jesse Dollemore_ Donald Trump PROVES HE'S LOST IT at Las Vegas Rally_ Tells MAGA _I Don't Care AboutSource:Jesse Dollemore talking about Donald Trump’s hot Las Vegas rally.

Source:The New Democrat

“Jesse talks about Donald Trump’s bizarro rally in Las Vegas over the weekend, where things got more and more strange with every appearance. At this particular rally, Donald Trump literally said to the crowd, “I don’t care about you—I just want your vote!”

From Jesse Dollemore

“Amid high temperatures at Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Las Vegas on Sunday, the former president made a quip about the heat affecting his attendees by stating that he needed their votes, adding, “I don’t care about you.”

From Newsweek

I guess I have a few reactions to Jesse Dollemore’s video here.

My first one is a negative reaction towards him. I think it’s pointless to to try to give the other side and explain how wrong Donald Trump is about something and give what you think the correct position should be is for a few reasons:

1. Most of the words that come out of Donald Trump’s unscripted political rallies, are complete garbage. (To be nice about it) He’s not a professional politician, he doesn’t think about the issues he speaks about, he hasn’t done the research, and talked to people who understand these issues. Unlike a professional, well-tailored politician, who has thought about these issues, who has done their homework, who has talked to the experts, as well as their voters, about these issues before.

2. DJT’s base of voters, the people who of course are going to vote for him, who’ve been with since 2015, take everything he says as the word of their God, who is Donald John Trump. (Who the hell is Jesus Christ, when you have Donald Trump)? They’re not interested in facts, figures, evidence, especially when Donald Trump is speaking. Only what he says and what they’re feeling in the current moment.

3. And if you are an undecided right now, whether you are an Independent, or a center-right Republican, who doesn’t want to vote for Donald Trump, perhaps you voted for him in 2016, but voted for Joe Biden in 2020, but you are not sure you are going to vote for President Biden again: do you really think these voters believe that immigrants, even illegal immigrants are the reason why we have poverty in America, or jobs go oversees, or why not every American finishes high school or can go to college? How stupid or crazy would you have to believe to believe any of that nonsense? Or that every 1 of the 15 million jobs that have been created since Joe Biden became President, have gone to illegal immigrants. Oh, right you would have to be a MAGA voter to take any of that trash (again, to be kind) seriously.

And again, Donald Trump only cares about himself. I think even his MAGA voters actually believe that, at least when they’re being honest with themselves. But he fights for the things that they believe in. Or that’s what they think. Which is why they support him like he’s the leader of their cult.

The question here is, will Donald Trump now admitting live that he doesn’t care about his voters, how that will affect the undecideds. Do they really want the next President of the United States whose only running for President, to stay out of jail. Or, do they want someone who actually loves his country, loves the people here, and will fight for them every chance that they get.

Steve Schmidt: ‘The Kennedy Factor: How Could RFK Jr. Shake Up the Trump-Biden Re-Match in the 2024 Election?’

The Warning With Steve Schmidt_ The Kennedy Factor_ How Could RFK Jr_ Shake Up the Trump-BidenSource:The Warning With Steve Schmidt talking about Donald J. Trump’s political wingman Robert F. Kennedy JR.

“Steve Schmidt joins Scripps News to discuss what Robert F. Kennedy’s presence in the 2024 election means for the Trump-Biden rematch.”

From The Warning With Steve Schmidt

As my colleague Fred Schneider wrote about Robert F. Kennedy JR. back in March:

“As an at best Independent Democrat at this point, whose not in love with the Democratic Party politically, or really anything else, for that matter, I would love to see Robert F. Kennedy JR. run for President as a Libertarian. Why? Because it would just confirm what I, what this blog, and what a lot of other Democrats believe about RFK JR. that he’s simply a MAGA man, who at the very least doesn’t want Joe Biden to be reelected and perhaps even wants Donald Trump back in The White House, where all their MAGA conspiracy theories and avenues to financially profit for them, would open up.”

From The New Democrat

As my colleague Fred Schneider wrote about RFKJR back in April:

“As far as RFK JR. telling CNN anchor Erin Burnett, who I’m a fan of and think she does a great job and is an excellent interviewer and really doesn’t take any junk (to put it mildly) from her guests, once again Bob JR. is just trying to blame President Biden for something that he can’t even try to defend.”

From The New Democrat

As my colleague Kire Schneider wrote about Robert F. Kennedy JR. back in May:

“As far as Robert F. Kennedy JR: The New Democrat has been pretty clear about him from the beginning. He’s a better looking, more intelligent, perhaps healthier, younger (even though he’s 70 years old) Donald Trump. But now we know he also has brain damage, which explains his braindead presidential campaign. (Pun intended) And maybe he’s looking for a way to get out of this election, because he’s now seeing polling that his campaign is hurting Donald Trump. Which he doesn’t want and is looking for a way to get out of this, before he hurts Trump even more. “

From The New Democrat

As my colleague Fred Schneider wrote about RFKJR back in May:

“If you are Joe Biden, the only thing you want to do, is beat Donald J. Trump. Who’ll hopefully be Convict Don before the conventions, not just the election. The last thing you want to do is to be screwing around with Donald Trump’s younger, better looking, hipper, smarter, physically stronger, little political brother, Robert F. Kennedy JR. Whose simply running for President as Donald Trump’s political wingman or blocker, whose simply trying to keep Joe Biden from winning reelection. I mean Bob Kennedy isn’t even qualified for the debates right now and isn’t on enough state ballots to win the election. Don’t give him a bigger platform than he deserves.”

From The New Democrat

I agree with Steve Schmidt that Robert F. Kennedy JR. hurts Joe Biden more than Donald Trump. But I guess it would put it differently and have different reasons.

As we’ve already said on The New Democrat, RFKJR. is just a younger, healthier, smarter, stronger, Donald J. Trump. Not that being younger, healthier, smarter, and stronger, then Donald J. Trump, who just reported to his probation hearing in Manhattan today, is any great prize. You don’t win prizes for being better than career criminals and crooks, who’ve just recently gotten caught and have become convicted felons for the first time in their lives.

What Bob Kennedy wants to do here, is help Donald Trump by taking votes away from Joe Biden. If you are familiar with auto racing, they have teams as well. They’ll have one driver whose in it to win it (to to speak) and another driver, or other drivers, who are there to make the top driver on their team job easier to win the race. And they do that by blocking the top driver’s opponents from taking the lead in the race, or just catching up. That’s what Kennedy JR. is doing here, but doing it in a political sense.

RFKJR is one of the most well-known, antigovernment, conspiracy theorists:

“Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s family publicly rebuked the longshot Democratic presidential contender for claiming at a dinner party in Manhattan last week Chinese and Ashkenazi Jewish people are less susceptible to Covid-19—unverified conspiracy theories widely viewed as racist and among a string of false claims he has helped spread over the better part of the past two decades.

Covid-19 targets certain races and gives others immunity: Kennedy Jr. was caught on camera telling fellow diners that “Covid-19 is targeted to attack Caucasians and Black people” and “the people who are most immune are Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese,” according to a video made public in the New York Post, which also shows him saying the U.S. “put hundreds of millions of dollars into ethnically targeted microbes” and labs in Ukraine collected Russian and Chinese DNA “so we can target people by race.”

The 2004 presidential election was stolen: Kennedy Jr. said in a 2006 Rolling Stone article he was “convinced” that voter fraud in the 2004 presidential election allowed former Republican President George W. Bush to steal the victory from Democrat John Kerry, but while a 2005 postmortem by the Democratic Party found a breakdown of the election system in Ohio, it found no evidence of fraud.

The CIA was involved in the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy: Reprising the unfounded claim he has made for years, Kennedy Jr. recently made the suggestion to Fox News’ Sean Hannity (though the federal government’s Warren Commission convened to study the killing found that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone when he shot JFK in 1963).

The wrong person may have been convicted of killing his father: Kennedy Jr. cast doubt on the conviction of Sirhan Sirhan in the 1968 assassination of his father, former U.S. Attorney General and Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, to which gunman Sirhan Sirhan confessed days later, though his lawyers have claimed in recent years that he was hypnotized and coerced to kill Kennedy.

The pharmaceutical industry is throwing money at Democrats: After the Affordable Care Act of 2010, “Democrats were getting more money from pharma than Republicans,” Kennedy Jr. claimed on Twitter Spaces, though an analysis by STAT News found 23 of the country’s biggest drug companies and 2 pharmaceutical trade organizations have favored Republicans in 14 of the past 16 elections from 1990-2020, the most recent year STAT studied.

Gun ownership in Switzerland is similar to the United States: While vowing not to “take away anyone’s guns,” if elected president, Kennedy Jr. made the debunked claim, despite data that shows U.S. civilians possess an average of 120.5 firearms per 100 people, the highest per-capita rate in the world, compared to 27.6 in Switzerland, according to the Small Arms Survey by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva, Switzerland.”

From Forbes Magazine

It’s not just the COVID nonsense (to be kind) that RFKJR throws around. And then add to the fact that at one point, before he took it back last month, he was talking about pardoning all the January 6 defendants and calling them tourists and using all this MAGA propaganda to try to defend the Jan 6. insurrectionists. He’s a younger, healthier, (minus the brain damage) smarter, less criminally exposed, Donald J. Trump.

But the catch is, at least before he just won the Reform Party presidential nomination, that he was going to run as a hardcore, leftist, who might be able to make the so-called Squad in the House, look like flaming, mushy-middle moderates. I think’s that’s a lot harder now that he has the backing and even nomination of a center-right, fiscally conservative, oriented, political party, that wants to reform entitlements, get the national debt and deficit under control, and put limits on trade and immigration.

So if you are the Trump Campaign, you have to convince and reenforce to the MAGA movement and perhaps center-right Republicans, that Donald Trump is the only person to vote for, before Bob Kennedy can hurt your campaign.

For the Biden Campaign, you need your left-wing flank whose not in love with Joe Biden (especially politically) that RFKJR is not one of them, before they think about voting for him, instead of not voting at all, or voting for a third-party Socialist.

But based on current polling and this will continue through the summer, if RFKJR sticks with the same political script, he takes votes away from Donald J. Trump and would cost him the election. Especially if DJT loses 10% or more of the Republican Party to Joe Biden, or those voters don’t vote at all.

The Lead With Jake Tapper: Maggie Haberman: ‘Donald Trump is Not in a Happy Place’

CNN_ Maggie Haberman On The Lead With Jake TapperSource:CNN political analyst & New York Times national political reporter.

“Senior political correspondent for the New York Times and CNN political analyst Maggie Haberman joins CNN’s Phil Mattingly to discuss former President Donald Trump seeking retribution against political foes.”

From CNN

Look, if I had just been convicted of 34 felonies, and I was in over 500 million dollars in the hole, my own damn family, not even my wife and kids were speaking to me, I would probably be unhappy as well. Well, maybe not the part about the family not wanting to talk to me. (Ha, ha) Even if I knew I was guilty and knew I wasn’t above the law, I would probably be very unhappy.

President Richard Nixon about 3 years after he was forced to resign as President of the United States, otherwise be impeached and convicted by Congress and perhaps face criminal prosecution after that, spoke to British journalist David Frost. Everyone who keeps up with American history, perhaps even a junky like myself, already knows about the Watergate and the Frost/Nixon Interviews.

President Nixon when talking about his political downfall with Sir David Frost, told Frost that: “I gave them the sword to stick against me and use it to bring me down.” That’s a paraphrase.

Since the early 1960s, Richard Nixon had complained about a media bias against him. Saying that they were all out to get him because he didn’t have the right educational and cultural background for the snobby and yuppie, Democratic Eastern press. And that’s not paranoia on his part. They didn’t like him and did want to bring him down.

But the problem that Nixon had was that he personally gave them everything that they needed to bring him down. Starting with the Plumbers Unit in The White House in 1971, which led to Watergate in 1972, the coverup just after that, that leads to Congress stepping in with their own investigation starting in the Senate in 1973 and finishing in the House in 1974.

At least half of the country, maybe 3-5 American simply don’t like Donald J. Trump and don’t want him to have any power at all in America. He might still win anyway, if left-wing Democrats don’t bother to vote, or don’t vote for Joe Biden and Independents simply dislike President Biden more.

And Trump is smart enough to know how unpopular he actually is. And yet like a political suicide bomber pilot, he goes out-of-his-way to give more Americans, especially in the mainstream media and in the U.S. Government, as well as in Democratic led government’s, like in New York City, Fulton County, Georgia, and the U.S. Government, reason after reason and he leaves evidence all over the place when he commits his crimes, that they really have know choice to use it against him, prosecute him and try to put him away, so he can’t commit any more felonies in this country.

As unpopular as Donald Trump is with the mainstream media and the Democratic media, if he simply had just obeyed the law, accepted the election results, not try to overthrow elections, not try to cover up his adulterous affairs with illegal campaign contributions, not try to keep classified documents that he no longer had access to, after he left The White House, they would have no reason whatsoever to go after him the way that they have the last 8 years.

Nicki Swift: ‘Donald Trump Accidentally Confirmed He Doesn’t Talk To Melania

Nicki Swift_ Donald Trump Accidentally Confirmed He Doesn't Talk To MelaniaSource:Nicki Swift talking about Donald J. Trump’s lack of communications with his gorgeous, baby-face wife, Melania.

Source:The New Democrat

“Dr. Phil McGraw didn’t exactly psychoanalyze former President Donald Trump in their primetime sit-down interview, but he did extract at least one juicy detail from his private life.”

From Nicki Swift

“While Dr. Phil McGraw mostly let Donald Trump vent about his hush-money trial on “Dr. Phil Primetime,” another of the topics discussed was how Donald’s guilty verdict has impacted Melania Trump. But, from the sounds of it, all that the former president can do is speculate about how his wife has been feeling, confirming everyone’s suspicions that the Trumps are not exactly the chattiest couple. As Barron Trump did his best impression of his mother while receiving his high school diploma, the grim-faced graduate’s parents were photographed looking unusually happy to be at an event together. But when McGraw inquired about how Melania has been coping lately, Donald started rambling and arguably even projecting his feelings onto a wife who apparently doesn’t have much to say to him.

“I think good, but I don’t think it’s an easy thing for her,” the controversial politician shared (via X, formerly known as Twitter). However, in Trumpworld, hearing nothing from your spouse may actually be a positive sign. “I think if it wasn’t good, she wouldn’t want to tell me about it, to be honest with you, because she sees that I’m fighting like hell, I’m trying to become president and make America great again,” Donald reasoned. Luckily for Melania, if she wants to know what’s going on with her husband, she doesn’t have to speak to him. The former first lady can always read about it in the papers — something Donald notably doesn’t like.”

From Nicki Swift

From what my colleague Fred Schneider wrote about Melania back in May:

“I’m not going to claim that I know Melania Trump well, or even personally. Very few people do. She gives new meaning to the term human confidential. (Actually, I think I just invented that term) She’s one of the most private people in the world.

But, as Melania’s own former aid Stephanie Winston Wolkoff told CNN anchor Jake Tapper and SW Wolkoff does know Melania very well, I mean she worked for her in New York and at The White House, her marriage with Donald is transactional.

Every relationship that Donald J. Trump has ever had has been transactional. So why would the relationship with his youngish and still very youngish looking, gorgeous, babydoll wife, whose still better looking than his daughters, be any different? She’s with Donald as long as that’s good for her.”

From The New Democrat

From what my colleague Fred Schneider about Melania back in May:

“Maybe I’ve thought about this for a while, but instead of creating The Apprentice 20 years ago, Donald Trump should’ve produced a real-life, real, reality TV show called The Trump’s. Or Trump Family.Org, because that’s exactly what they are.

Whatever you think of the case against Donald J. Trump (and The New Democrat has been very clear where it stands) this has been a horrible, real life, made for tabloid TV, and broadcast network TV movie of the week, from like the 1980s, nightmare for his current transactional wife Melania.

Again, I don’t pretend to know this woman, but she obviously doesn’t think her transactional husband is innocent. And apparently neither does Donald’s kids because they only show up after being criticized for not showing up at all. And nothing yet from his oldest daughter Ivanka and her husband, his son-in-law, Jared Kushner.”

From The New Democrat

From what my colleague Rik Schneider wrote about Donald Trump’s interview with Dr. Phil McGraw earlier today:

“To start on a lighter note first: the closest thing that Dr. Phil comes to making an honest statement in this “interview”, was when they were talking about why Donald Trump didn’t testify in his own defense during the hush money trial. And DJT was sort of trying to explain why he didn’t testify and Dr. Phil said: “I would’ve jumped in front of a moving car to prevent you from testifying.”

From The New Democrat

Just like my colleague Fred Schneider won’t pretend that he knows Melania Trump at all, let alone well, neither will I. She could’ve spoken to Donald this morning for all I know. (But if they did, it was probably through their I-phones, even from the same apartment)

But if you are familiar with Donald Trump’s hush money case in Manhattan, you know about circumstantial evidence. And if they’re not talking at all right now, that would fit into everything else that’s been going on with them the last 2 months or so:

Like the fact that she hasn’t even made a reality TV show me appearance, her own damn husband’s criminal trial, where jail is a possibility for him, now that’e he’s been convicted of not just 1, but 34 felonies.

As well as all the embarrassing information that came out in their transactional marriage. He’s not only cheated on her, but did with a porn actress, when she was pregnant with his son Barron.

The fact that he not only paid Stephanie Clifford (also known as Stormy Daniels) off, but did it right before the 2016 election.

And it was her idea to play the Access Hollywood tape as “locker room talk”.

But not communicating with Donald, this could be Melania’s way of getting back at him.
