I have another theory here. (And once again, I’m not a lawyer) I’m thinking that Mark Meadows gave the Jack Smith prosecutors enough information, for them to justify them granting him immunity. But then Meadows said he wouldn’t tell them anything else and got the immunity anyway. But now the Jack Smith team can’t use what Meadows told them against him, but everything that he hasn’t already admitted and all the other evidence that they have against him, they can still use against him going forward.
