What looked like a pretty good matchup on paper turned into a blowout by the second quarter. As the Redskins simply dominated the Bills on both sides of the ball on the line of scrimmage. The Bills never getting a running game going and as a result not being able to protect. QB Jim Kelly who was hit and knocked down throughout the game. And the Bills not being able to stop the Redskins running game. Giving QB Mark Rypien plenty of time to hit those big deep passes down the field with Bills defense. Having to worry so much about the Redskins running game.
